I could just about manage the tamborine. ;)

I'm not good with musical instruments. In fact when I was at school they didn't want me playing the recorder because I was so bad at it.

Sue K 04 Dec 2010 12:55

In a school pagent I played finger cymbals for the song The Little Drummer Boy and every time I hear it and that sweet little sound, it takes me back in time ... :D ...

:twisted: On reflection, this could be worth a thread of it's own :wink:
Wario will be happy to help you with the poll :lawl:

If it were a Wario poll it would be about which instrument you would rather be. ;-)

The Flying Mouse 04 Dec 2010 16:36

:twisted: And what you would be wearing as you were played.

In fact, looking into the crystal ball I got off e bay, I can see that after a series of polls on the subject, Wario would be..............

A banjolele, wearing a day glow orange lycra sheath and purple neck studs, played by an orangatang in a gimp mask and assless golfing pants, and the song would be Come Fly With Me.

I've been on this forum for too long :wtf:

Monstro 04 Dec 2010 23:47

Personally I've always thought of Wario as a plucker :D

AndrewG 05 Dec 2010 00:41

I'll be Patti's mic.

duke knooby 05 Dec 2010 00:56

whats easier to learn??? guitar or banjo?

No idea. Guitar isn't too difficult just the basics. Banjo looks difficult to me as it is so small, having to have your fingers so screwed up and bridging multiple strings straight away.

duke knooby 05 Dec 2010 01:06

might have a go at guitar then lol

Monstro 05 Dec 2010 03:12

Where'd everyone go then?

AndrewG 05 Dec 2010 03:31

I'm still here. I should be in bed. You at Birmingham tomorrow?? Or today I should say.

Monstro 05 Dec 2010 03:50

No, Anji's there with Emma, I've got babysitting duties lol

Oh, no ... lol ... I'm sure WarieL would sort out a big band swing version of Masculine ... ;) ... lol ...

I'm sorry to hear that :( I hope you get it figured out soon !

Sarge 08 Dec 2010 19:47

Fortunately I'm used to walking long distances. Otherwise I probably would have been stuck in the city with public transportation being canceled and no cabs available. Walking on extremely slippery roads in freezing rain is fun, LOL.

duke knooby 09 Dec 2010 00:59

~~~~ it
Sarge 09 Dec 2010 02:22
Brrr... it's cold... and the snow is really piling up outside... :yodel:
Interesting to see how much humans depend on their modern technology and how vulnerable that technology is. Some snow and rain and we're almost back in the 19th century... unfortunately without horse-drawn carriages.
Speaking of candles, why can't I find any bayberry candles in stores ? It's Christmas-time, for Loaf sake ! It was tradition in my family to light a bayberry candle Christmas Eve and let it burn until it was gone. It was for luck, so I'm told and ... lol ... WHO DON'T NEED THAT ? ... lol ... Oh, well, I'll continue my search.
