The Crazies, i highly recommend it, plenty of murder and mayhem, and lots of gore ! A storyline that is believable in this day and age, government cover up, regarding a toxic leak ( biological warfare ), sent virtually everyone nuts and killings a plenty !
|
Klute
I expected it to be more exciting but Jane Fonda's performance was just great. |
... Bridget Jones Edge Of Reason ... and i laughed so hard at the ski scene ? ... i woke the house !!! ... lol ... i was SCREAMING laughing with tears flowing ... i'm reading Bridget Jones Diary ... and do have Edge of Reason to read as well ... i'm very looking foward to it ... lol ... i adore the Bridget Jones character attitude of "this shouldn't be so hard" ... rolling ... then stepping in tins of Shepard's Pie (in the book) ... and the ski scene ... rolling ...

The Elephant Man
|
I liked the Elephant Man myself. Good movie. I just watched The Keeper starring Steven Seagal. Followed up by Roadie starring the Man himself.
|
finally finished the whole Friday the 13th series with the 2009 remake. That makes all in all 13 movies (including a feature length documentation.)
next series on the list is Final Destination |
Roadie, i just can't watch it enough times :-)
|
It wasn't a movie, but as I am sick atm and bed is the only nice place to be at the moment I re-watched Dangerous: The Short Films, by MJ and loved it all over again  .
|
 Had a musical double bill Wednesday night with Jesus Christ Superstar followed by Tanz Der Vampire (A real Heaven & Hell night :lmao: ) then it was a Lethal Weapon marathon of all 4 films on Thursday night.
|
Paranormal Activities
Nerver going to watch that again!!! even tho it was a good film... made me jump. |
7 Pounds, i like Will Smith think he is an amazing actor, didn't know what to expect from this film. Thought it might not be up my street, but i loved it, sad, thought provoking and superbly acted !
I can only handle one movie like that a week, the rest i want murder, bloodshed and gore, which is why i will be watching Saw 6 very soon ! |
Catwoman
dunno what was worse, the plot or the cg effects... |
Leathal Weapon
|
Lord of the Rings
|
36 Hours
|
Heat on Blu-ray - Intense
|
... Grey Gardens ... i was so pleased to see it was on tv AGAIN... lol ... last night... it's a very fave of mine ... Drew Barrymore and Jessica Lange performances ... priceless ! ...
|
Saw 6, you can always rely on this franchise to deliver superb torture, gore and death ! Excellent, although i do wonder about the mental health of the people who come up with these grusesome ideas ? ! ;)
My mental health i already know;)LOL.. |
Shutter Island
Good, but the book is a good bit better. |
... still Grey Gardens ... and as i've sat here waiting for my computer to sort through some issues ... i've been wondering what tonight's first time showing is on Starz ?? ... i might go off in a bit to check it out ... OR turn on a good old reliable spooker ... lol ... OR pop on a LOCI tape ... ;) ... mmmmm... Bobby Goren ... goooood... :D ...
|
Alice In Wonderland...I have to think about this one...
|
Final Destination 2
|
Happy Sunday meatie peeps ...

The Invention Of Lying.
It was really good ... but we don't live in a world where we have to tell the truth ;-) |
New Moon - the twilight saga
|
Leathal Weapon 3

Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian
|

|
2012
looks stunning on blu ray! I was a bit hesistant, as a lot of people said they were disappointet by this one. Was convinced with what I saw. Sure, it's not the next Godfather, but if you look for a huge action movie with LOTS of suspense, I dont think it could get a lot better than this! |
Alice in Wonderland 3D
I'm a sucker for 3d and I really enjoyed it. Usually I am really not a fan of Helena Bonham Carter but for the first time ever I was amused rather than annoyed by her! |
Shutter Island followed by New Moon
Double Feature at the Drive In |
 Last night Jo and I watched......
1. Black Sheep (New Zealand film about Zombie sheep). Funny film, but was very tired so sort of dozed off halfway through it  Will have to watch it again soon. 2.Jaws. Always good  3.The Ring. Thought that they did a really good job of remaking it from the Japanese original 8) |
Green Street
My son's fault... he wanted to watch.... not a very nice film, very violent |
taxi driver
|
Focus ~ (finally got around to watching it).

My most recent is Twilight New Moon. Don't know whether it should count as a film or not, as absolutely nothing happens whatsoever. Before that it was Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief, which was thoroughly entertaining, much better than the recent Potters. |
Jaws
gotta say I changed my mind on this one. Never really liked it, based on a cut-for-tv version I've seen at the age of ~13. Today I took the time to watch the whole thing on DVD, and now I'm convinced this is a great movie. Especially the cage scene underwater was great! |
Bird On A Wire.
Mel Gibson and Goldie Hawn in one of the best comedy's to come of out of the 80s |
Terminator 3 on blu ray
 |
The Blind Side - very very good
Sandra Bullock deserved the oscar for it as it seems so out of character for her, which is the intention of an actor i would assume! |
Bounty Hunter. Girly but amusing. Worth watching.
|
 Not a movie, but Jo and I had a supernatural marathon last night.
Watched the first 11 episodes of season 1. Be the other 11 tonight  |
Men who stare at goats
wtf? :wtf: |

meanwhile... lol ... last night... don't faint... but i watched a film i had never before ! ... The Last Temptation of Christ ... starring Willem Dafoe as Jesus ... directed by Martin Scorcese ... it was very graphic ... i read the book years ago ... i remember that the last temptation was as he hanged on cross he had vision of making love to Mary Magdelene... but i thought the book also produced a fictional theory how Jesus and either Thomas or Peter created the illusions of the miracles and such ... but it's possible i could be confusing TLTOC with some other book i read ... at anyrate... i enjoyed the film ... |
FD3
|
Blues Brothers
hut hut hut hut hut hut hut :)) |
Out of Africa

The Box
|

Happy Monday meatie peeps ...
Quote:

Jaws 2
|
Terminator Salvation on blu ray
kinda miss the humour of the first 3 movies |
Le trio infernal
|
Clash Of The Titans. It was watchable, but nothing to get overly excited about. Some of the special effects seemed weird.
|
Nigh~~~~ch (the original, not the hollywood remake)
very good, but has to be watched in the dark, in an empty flat/house all by yourself... edit: lol at the squiggly lines (if you dont get it, the film was nigh.t-wat.ch) |
The informant
|
... last night i started to watch a film called Flawless... starring Robert DeNiro and Philip... three names Hoffman ... he won the Oscar for Capote ? ... it was late and i was tired... and fell asleep... but woke a couple times to see that it seems a really good film i shall make time to sit and watch in its entirety ...
|
Desert Flower
|
blade runner
|
Peur sur la ville - French action thriller starring Jean-Paul Belmondo.
|
 The Grudge.
A film about a terrible curse. You sit in front of the telly and it bores the ever loving shit out of you  |
Jaws 3
really bad, not only is the story boring, the effects are even worse than in the original. I was laughing my ass off when the shark crashed through the window! |
Quote:
me ? ... i still need to watch that Flawless film ... i'm trying to decide if i should watch it alone or if it would appeal to my husband ... i know my mnl won't like it ... |
finished the jaws series with part 4, but wont even go into detail on this one....lol

for me the best part was when Michael Caine gets attacked by the shark, his plane sinks, and five minutes later he gets out of the water with dry clothes and without a single scratch lol

The first Tomb Raider film. I'd never seen it before and it was dreadful.
|
I remember that when I saw it in the cinema some years ago, I always wanted to take control over Lara Croft like in the game because she was acting so stupid. :lawl:
|
I don't understand why she didn't smash her half of the triangle and leave it at that? Or even smash the clock thingy and save herself all the bother?
|
There were a lot of illogical things in the movie. I mean, when the baddies attack her at home, she knocks down a dozen heavily armed guys but instead of just grabbing one of their guns, she runs to the garage in order to knock together a device with which she can use screwdrivers as arrows.
|
obviously they were highly influenced by the A team lol
|
Everyone..go see "Date Night" - one of the funniest movies ive seen in ages. I laughed so hard, almost fell out my seat lol
|
Pleasantville

Blood On The Dance Floor was incredible live  . |
... Howard Stern's Private Parts ... and it's probably just me... i'm SURE it's just me... but that film makes me laugh myself right off my seating... lol ... perhaps you need to be a fan to find it so funny ... oh my goodness... i hear emails frantically clicking into my email box... i bet it's loads of congrats for my 9000th post flowing in ... have YOU congratulated me ... yes...you there ?... you know who i mean... no.. not you...
