:lmao:

I did try and persuade Ralph that they could have our old one and we'd have the shiny new bigger one, but he wasn't happy with that theory.

LucyK! 15 Feb 2011 17:01

Not very open minded is he... people

duke knooby 15 Feb 2011 17:34

which large flat screen did one choose to purchase?

AndyK 15 Feb 2011 17:42

It was the cheapest one available at the size required and with the inputs we needed.

It's going to be used as a screen in a video conference suite and the 42" LG TV I've just bought worked out thousands cheaper than the 42" dedicated screen the robbing gits at Polycom wanted to sell us!

duke knooby 15 Feb 2011 18:16

nice one :-)

duke knooby 15 Feb 2011 22:00

nearly every winner at the brits so far has had the no. of you tube hits in such and such a time frame mentioned... if you tube is not a good medium for music promo, why does it appear to be important at this awards ceremony??

(and why does the infraction page only display 5 infractions per page?)

Maybe because it's one of the few places in which you still can present music videos?

Didn't need cheese before bed for weird dreams tonight then

Queen were right: It's a hard life…

Evil One 18 Feb 2011 11:50

Just had an unopened bottle of Asda diet coke explode inside the kitchen cupboard :panic:. Either Asda are secretly producing grenades or that was overpressurised somewhat :wtf:. Now I have to clean out the ~~~~ing cupboard, the contents of the cupboard and the floor :wall:.

AndyK 18 Feb 2011 12:18

Serves you right for buying non branded cheap cola flavoured drinks :p

There some things that should only be bought as brand name (Heinz Beans, Tomato Soup and Ketchup, Coke Cola etc)

I agree, although I prefer Pepsi :bleh:. However, one bottle of Pepsi is £1.59. A four pack of Asda brand is £1.79. Or make that a three pack now!

daveake 18 Feb 2011 12:34

Yes, but which would you prefer for the same money - one Bat 1 CD or 3 HCTB's?

Evil One 18 Feb 2011 12:37

That's one HCTB splattered all over the kitchen. Two more to go!

Actually I quite like the taste of Asda coke. Any other own brand version is nasty though. :barf:

daveake 18 Feb 2011 12:39

I got the wrong album. Clearly, in your case, The Ring-pull Is Loose.

Evil One 18 Feb 2011 12:45

I'm surprised you didn't go for Seize The Shite.

 Just don't go opening any boxes of donuts :bleh:

duke knooby 18 Feb 2011 19:24

the problem with trying to save money buying yellow pack (in asda in this example) is any money saved in the original purchase is now lost on having to use cleaning products... not to mention the time and inconvenience.

always try to get the best one can afford, but there are some items its just not worth cutting corners on

such as cola
