Buzz word bingo always works and makes you look interested, as does trying to legitimately work a random word into the meeting ... try and get cauliflower in to the conversation tomorrow.

duke knooby 22 Feb 2011 00:41

buzz word bingo? whats that??

random words won't really work as most things i say/do are random

i don't even know if i'm gonna have to attend yet lol

just preparing for 4 hours of tedium (just in case)

AndyK 22 Feb 2011 00:44

Draw up a list of all the management jargon speak "blue sky thinking" "out of the box" "synergy" etc, randomly distribute the list amongst your colleagues and score points everytime you your words.

Hi yez ! I brought this post to the Post Your Thoughts thread because I have a thought on it and to reply where the above post is currently located would probably swing the thread off topic ... I just want to say, I like Dance In My Pants, particularly the video ! It's a fun song, imo. And I also like Steinman's version of Bad For Good. Saying that, though, I adore Meat's version. He was able to take it on and make it his own, imo. Steinman's Left In The Dark , though ... I still need to skip over that one on the cd and probably always will. Meat's version is in my head and heart.

I'm wondering whether it's because of the time of year? I know a lot of people that are going through grumpy spells. I'm thinking that having to pay bills from Christmas and possibly having less work has something to do with it and those in winter at the moment are probably fed up of the cold and the rain.

B-barb, do you suffer with chronic migraines ? I can't imagine the pain. I've never been one to have headaches, I mean nearly NEVER and had just a wee one the other night and went near to mad ! Thank Loaf a store brand Tylenol (I can't think the long name... aceta... something or other... ) X-Strength took care of it. My beloved husband was having one continual headache (nooo, not me !! ... lol ... ) and we found out he had polyps in his head. They are small and no cause for alarm. The doctor said an eye would be kept on them, but husband still has headache, but not as bad as it was. Perhaps some of the continual headache was from the stress of not knowing why he was having it in the first place and once we found it was no cause for concern, some of his stress left taking some of the headache with it. I hope this finds you feeling better ...

I don't know whether the weather will improve my mood, I'm hoping it does but I think it's got something to do with feeling ill all the time and being in a job I don't like very much.

When I work out what I've got to smile about I'm going to focus on that as best I can in the hope that I'll be less of a grouch.

I keep seeing this comparison on the internet and imo, there isn't one. Charlie can bring himself and those who voluntarily orbit him harm. Gaddafi can bring harm to alot of innocent lives.

A second thought, though re: innocent lives. I suppose all those involved with the show Two and A Half Men will be harmed should it be prematurely taken off air forever, but that will be monetary loss and those folks can carry on. Gaddafi has the ability to end innocent lives, which he is probably in process of as we "speak".

Another thought: Imo, Charlie looks awful. Imo, maybe he should be tested for HIV and show those results.

When this current bout of lunacy kicked off it was said he sent in jet fighters, last night it said on the news he was deploying mustard gas, and this rate by next week he'll be down to throwing medium sized stones and shaking his fist as people walk by.

It was also debated last night wether foreign countries (in other words, America, with England bounding alongside like a puppy that's overeager to please) should be doing anything more to help resolve the situation.
The people seem to want no outside involvement, and i've got to say I agree.
Let them sort their own crap out. There have been way too many police peace keeping missions, and let's face it, when the US and English politicians get comfy, there's no shifting the b@stards.

How many times has there been a planned withdrawal from Iraq now? :wtf:

i'm pretty damn sure when vat was dropped to 15% there was a special tax increase for fuel, so as the government didnt loose too much cash... and im pretty damn sure when it went back up to 17.5% the special addition so the government didnt loose out wasn't removed again, and now its at 20% vat, i'm puzzled why people want the proposed duty rise stopped??

and i'm still ~~~~ing annoyed that we have to pay taxes on a tax!!!
