no other guesses??

duke knooby 27 Feb 2012 21:13

ah well...

Laserdisc

and here it is... (i love the name on the back of it)

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MEAT-LOAF-...item2306583e56

(obviously available from other places aswell)

Evil One 27 Feb 2012 22:36

It's not an official product though. :rly:

duke knooby 27 Feb 2012 22:52

what do you mean not an official product???

Sarge 27 Feb 2012 22:55

Not official? Why does it have a BMG logo then?

duke knooby 27 Feb 2012 23:00

if there was one format i'd be stunned at anyone producing a "fake" of it would be laserdisc, as sarge says, it has the BMG logo, the MIA logo etc (it was even digitally remastered as good as they could digitally remaster 10 year old footage 20 years ago)

Evil One 27 Feb 2012 23:02

Buy it and prove me wrong.

duke knooby 27 Feb 2012 23:06

no need... i can provide a link ;) (and if it has a link it must be true)

http://www.lddb.com/search.php?searc...oaf&sort=title

looks like a us release in the never twice same color format

Evil One 27 Feb 2012 23:08

Well ~~~~~~ me. I stand corrected.

duke knooby 28 Feb 2012 21:29

ipad 3 out march 7th??

hopefully i'm gonna be off :)

Sue K 28 Feb 2012 22:17

THAT'S the news story that just sent me into a news blackout ... It's been found that remains of victims from 9/11 attacks in PA USA and the Pentagon have been cremated and put into a landfill !!!! ... HOW FREAKIN' STUPID CAN MY GOVERNMENT GET ???!!! Why not make the announcement to build a maseleum (sp) say in Arlington Cemetary where the remains, that are reported to be unable to identify, will be placed after cremation ? This way, those family members who never had remains returned to them could perhaps make an assumption that perhaps the remains belong to their loved ones and have some closure... BTW... I heard on BBC this morning some woman saying that "closure" was one of those horrid American phrases... Two words... Begger Off... THERE... how's THAT for closure ??? ... ... And what's with my government burning books ... particularly being so stupid as to burn a Muslim bible ??? It's so scary to think these are the people protecting me and my countrypeeps ... gawd ... xo

its a very common phrase over here after decades of violence, and as time moves on, is perhaps the most important part after the tragic loss of a loved one

Life can be a real bitch at times and a struggle. Just remembering Meat's quote "Don't you ever stop rocking!" helps most of the time :) Reading the stories from the signing in the UK made me feel good too :) Yeah, I felt disappointed that I may never get to experience this, but I was so happy for those who got the chance :) If I don't get the chance, then hey, it's not the end of the world ;) I'll sit back and enjoy reading the stories on here :) :) :)

And I really hope you get your chance someday Lyn :-)

I got a 2nd row center ticket for Trace Adkin's concert at the American Music Theater, in Lancaster, for July 8th ! It's supposed to be an intimate Storytellers type show in a really small theater, and I can't wait :))

Oh, Michael... how awful... and I hear you about neighbors... though we are fairly friendly with a family across the street and one two doors down ... Maybe we could have them keep some food from our freezer in theirs... That's happened to us a couple times... One time I had to run it all over to my sister's a few blocks away ... and another we were lucky... It was winter so we packed it up in containers and stored it out in the yard !!! We've had our used fridge we paid about 100.00 for for about 15 years now... and every time I load up the freezer I wonder "is THIS the week it conks out ?" ... lol ... We've been blessed so far ...
