Any card that reaches the end of the line will be passed on to Meat.
Unfortunatly no card has yet made it all the way 8O .
I don't know weather to :lol: or :cry: .
I am still hopeful that the xmas card will get to Meat, but I very much doubt that it will be on time :? .

I've made a decision on this.I'm gonna give the cards one last go.I've said that before, but I don't want to give up before i'm sure that this is a pointless excersize.I want everyone to have the oportunity to be included in this.

There have been problems in some cases with the post, and nobody on the forums can be blamed for that.But I have noticed that there have been times when the card has been held up for an unacceptable ammount of time by people who just can't be bothered putting the effort in.
I'm not pointing fingers, i'm not playing the blame game, but if anybody feels that they cannot pass the card on within a reasonable time, send me a PM and i'll delete your name from the list.
To hold the card up is very unfair to the vast majority of people who genuinly do their best to try and make this work.I can start the card, I can post reminders for everyone to pass it on, but I can't come round to your house and post it for you.
It's time to shape up, or ship out.
Anybody who is not on the list but would like to be included in this (perhaps last) attempt, send me a PM around xmas time and i'll be more than happy to add your name to the list.
As always, plenty of time will be given for the card to get round.

I don't like ranting, so before I finish I would like to say thank you very much to the vast magority of people involved who have gone out of their way to get the card around.I hope that things will work better and these cards will be able to continue.

how about everyone on the list could be contacted and you could set up a certain amount of time that is acceptable to hold on to the card, like three days, then if anyone feels they cannot do that they can be taken off.

if it gets held up for more than this, that person can be taken off of the list for the next one. It is not perfect as the card can still get held up, but might be an idea?

Great. I'll send it on to Eva the very same day, like I did with the birthdaycard. But: even though I paid extra to get a priority-sticker on it, it still took a week before it arrived in Germany :cry:

So, we know where the christmascard is, it's at Marianne's.
But where is the birthday-card at the moment?

As you can imagine, there was not a great selection of xmas cards at the time of year I sent it :lol: so I basically got the biggest one I could :wink:

I think the best solution would be for Guppie to post the card back to me (i'll PM you my address in a min Gup) after she has signed it and i'll get it to Meat, and if Eva can get a card and carry on the chain until it gets to Meat.

It means that Meat will get two cards, but I don't think he'll mind :wink:

Not an ideal solution by any means, but it's the best thing I can think of right now :?

P.S. I'll be buying Meat's xmas card this December to make sure I can get one big enough for all the signatures :wink:

Sorry I forgot to post the latest news about the card :oops: .Xmas is the time to act like a headless chicken :lol: .
I was hoping that the card would arrive on Saturday, so I could find a way of getting it backstage on Sunday night :up: .
As it turns out, it didn't arrive until xmas eve :( .
I'm making arrangments to get it to Meat, so all being well (insert prayer here) Meat should at least have it in time for new year :D .
