Good, now that you've all settled for a winner from anywhere-on-the-isle it's time again to wait for a real English champion...

Very controversial!!
I am more than happy that a Briton has won. And a Scot at that.
Having once spent a week in Dunblane ( at one of my best mate's parents' house) I can now claim the skinniest of tenuous links to the Wimbledon title!
Many a Scotch was enjoyed over a frame in the local snooker hall.
That was over twenty odd years ago, but my memories of Andy's hometown are very fond indeed!
On a side note, what a p*ll"ck that Salmond guy is with his flag stunt.
I am very much English, but also British. Just as Murray can be Scottish and British. It smacked of desperation from me. Here's to the Union of England, Northern Ireland, Wales and.... Scotland!

I know what you mean. I feel a European, very much under the European Flag. especially during the European Championships football. That way I never lose (unless a team from the British Union wins it. But c'mon, who are we kiddin') :-P:twisted: Except if the Dutch team wins. Then I couldn't care less about that Eurpean flag;)

Europe? Now that's completely different. Thank our lucky stars for the day the Channel flooded!
Adje, just as the Scots will soon be voting for whether they go it alone, the rest of us may very soon be doing the same on the Europe issue.

Cheers guys! I've got 35 unaided (they'll be aided by that I mean someone holding my feet) sit ups in 50 seconds and I have a minute to do 35.

Easily do 20 press ups in 30 seconds, again a minute to do 20.

Run should be alright I'll put Bat or another suitable song on.

Got plenty or Bruce and Meat to get me pumped up.

Wasn't sure if I should LIKE or dislike this post. LOL. LIKE it cause I definitely agree that it has been a muggy and unbearably hot summer. Dislike cause I totally hate the extremely hot humid weather. Need to move to a less humid climate, like Florida or The Carolinas or the West Coast. We will just keep suffering thru it I guess.

Florida less humid than Boston? (unless you're being sarcastic)

Not sure why I ended my self-imposed ban on using the 'like' button?
But, I'm glad I did and admit that I was utterly wrong about its possible back-firing repercussions.
I 'like' myself for it.
Just need to read the user manual for the 'dislike' key.
