I didn't think I'd end up with a new website theme as a result of my faffing about earlier. It has been a productive day. :D

To everyone that is doing a M&G, has anyone received the instructions yet? As in where to be and what time. I have yet to receive mine. I might just have to give TM or PH a call on my lunch hour.

I got this email today :

Attention ticket holder!

We just learned that the Meet & Greet for your upcoming event has a new time:

Meat Loaf Meet & Greet
Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino
Original Time: Saturday, November 5th, 2013 at 7:30PM at Post Show
New time: 5:15PM!

Your original tickets are still good and we look forward to seeing you there – enjoy the event!

The Meet & Greet will take place at 5:15pm in the showroom lobby. Guests are asked to arrive between 4:45pm-5:00pm and gather in front of the store when a staff member will greet them, verify their tickets, notify them of the rules, give them passes and souvenir scarves. He will facilitate the taking of photos and directing traffic. The Meet & Greet will end at 5:45pm at which time Meat will leave and guests will remain in the gift shop to wait for their printed photos.

If you received tickets via our Ticket Transfer program and can no longer attend the event, you have two options: use our Ticket Transfer program to either return the tickets to the person who sent them to you or send them to a friend who can go to the event!

Thanks for being a fan!

I work in retail anyway so the second one might come in handy. I'm quite looking forward to it actually.

It is the national affordable healthcare act. It allows everyone in the US to get health insurance no matter what their income level is or what their previous health history is. That is a very simplified answer. It gets complicated

Thanks for the simplified explanation.

What is it that some of the Americans are objecting to about it?

It gets very complicated but for one, the rates that insurance companies are charging for private policy does not meet up with the salary people make. Also it's a forced plan where people will be taxed/penalized if people don't have insurance. But it's a large plan that has a lot of problems overall and no plan B and no fixes to those problems. Summed up.

Basically it was a mix up between the parents, normally she would take him to child care in the morning, but the dad was supposed to this time, she put Alfie in the dads car ready to go, the dad either didn't realise or forgot and went to work. He went to pick Alfie up from day care in the afternoon, was told that he wasn't dropped off and found his son in the back of his car still strapped into his car seat. The funeral is on Friday.

A terrible, terrible mistake that they have to live with now, I hope their marriage survives, because they are going to need each other now more than ever.

And what's not making it any easier is that its all through the media and some people are commenting quite cruelly on it

I don't even know what to say. That is a horrible thing that has happened. The fact that it is being ran through the media and people are making comments, only makes it worse. People on the outside have no idea what those parents will live through or with for the rest of their life. They do not need to hear others rude comments on top of the pain they are already feeling.

I do hope they can work through this!
