They sound a lot like First Great Western.

On several occasions have I known a train to 'disappear' with them. One minute it's delayed, the next thing you know it's disappeared from all the information boards and everything???

Had to have a filling today. IT took 2 doses of Anesthetic before I went numb, we realised I needed a second dose half way though.

Tougher than the rest....

I've been lucky enough to avoid needing a filling but I spent five months as a dental nurse (before getting squeamish) so I've seen enough of them done.

Feel better soon Seb.

duke knooby 11 Nov 2013 22:03

just gotta find out who had it from 04 to 06 and then a full mileage check :)

AndyK 12 Nov 2013 21:16

Today's thoughts.

Belfast is still bloody cold!

That really was rocket science.

They're called missiles for a reason, and most people use the name with the wrong context.

In theory I'll have done my hours for the week by 4pm tomorrow, sadly the reality is a little different!

duke knooby 12 Nov 2013 22:38

you shouldda said you were over sooner!!!

were ya at Short Bros?

tonyloaf 12 Nov 2013 23:46

They've not been called that for years. Although I had to tell the taxi driver that's where I wanted to go as he'd not heard if the "new" name.

You do know JFK was never killed, right? It was just a hoax so they could blame Watergate on Nixon, a decade later...

Seeing as how you like "Wrecking Ball" so much, I really think you would enjoy it. :-) It's not the ESB, it's with the Sessions Band (from the "Seeger Sessions" project), though many of the members are also current ESB members- some crazy talented people. The advantage of "Live in Dublin" (IMO) is that along with the traditional "Seeger" tunes, you get many of Bruce's own songs reworked. I absolutely LOVE the way he redid "Growin' Up", for example:

YouTube Video

I guarantee you won't be able to stop singing, "Pay Me My Money Down". :D

YouTube Video

I totally did not expect to like this as much as I did.

It comes as a DVD or CD, and I think there is a set available which includes both.

Here's also an hour-long BBC special:

JennaG 18 Nov 2013 09:18

I wasn't that impressed with that concert. I don't think it'd be winning 'Concert of The Year' in my books.

tonyloaf 18 Nov 2013 14:17

I went to this at wembley, very good!

AndyK 18 Nov 2013 18:24

The Seeger Sessions shows were a party from start to finish. And as good as the Cd and Dvd are they just don't capture the atmosphere of the shows.
