Glad you had a good time at the show Mel. From the pictures you've posted on Instagram, it looks like you were a long way up. Did you get used to it eventually? |

The fuss is Bruce live. I rarely listen to Springsteen albums as they don't even come close to what he does on stage, I sometimes feel that his albums are just a formality he has to go through so he can get back out on the road!

Aqua fitness today courtesy of a complimentary ticket. Wow....legs ache.

Were the tickets back there much cheaper than the ones slightly nearer? |

This explains why we love the live bootlegs so much. I listen to probably about half live vs. studio, skewed more towards live. Quote:

Well as far as a back row seat goes it was quite expensive, $132, where most of the time for a back seat you'd pay around $99. Most of the big bands seem to be around $132 for the "cheap" seats out here. I'm not sure what the people at the front and in the standing section were paying, but it was quite pricey. The Rolling Stones are coming soon and their tickets were way too expensive for me to even consider. I actually remember watching the people way down at the front getting excited and jumping around during the show and all my memories of how I felt at the front for Meat's shows in the UK. |
The 50th Anniversary of the Beatles at 6:30 EST USA. Can be watched on line it says at site.

they're really really insistant on the minis being motd, taxed and insured for the hopkirk gala event... which has given me a problem, as i was gonna just trailer it down to titanic
so, tomorrow afternoon, my little mini is up for its first mot in a decade... and i expect a long list of fail points :( but ya got start somewhere wish me and it luck :) |

I did the European-style lineup one time, and each method has it's advantages. Both are totally worth it, IMO. :-) Bruce's top ticket price in the U.S. is around $100. The Stones prices were ridiculous here as well, but I totally lucked out with a pair of $85 "mystery seats" that ended me up in the pit. :D It happened here that they adjusted prices closer to the show dates, as I assume tickets didn't sell at the higher price points- kind of a good strategy, actually, IMO. That's not to say they weren't still pretty expensive, but less so. Decent seats could be had for $125 or so. Maybe they will do something similar Down Under. |
I shall keep an eye out

http://www.rollingstones.com/tickets/ Your show looks sold out, but keep checking back closer to the show date, because they released more $85 tix here, too. Even if you end up with the worst seat in the house, it's still cheaper than the next cheapest option. |

I want to see Bruce again. He did the full born in the usa album in Melbourne twice and played nearly 4 hours.
He's doing the full darkness on the edge of town album in sydney right now. Sent from my GT-I9197 using Forum Runner |

No, seriously, he did all of Born in the U.S.A. the first night, and Born to Run the second night, which is a good thing, because I think some people's heads might have exploded if he'd played BITUSA two shows in a row. I'd love to get Darkness, it's my favorite album of his. I've seen Born to Run twice, as well as The Wild, the Innocent, and the E Street Shuffle, the only time (so far) he's played that one. You can't beat hearing New York City Serenade in New York City! :-) |
