Took my boy to his first metal show. Broke him in gently! But he was quite merrily rocking to Dallas 1pm, 747, Wheels of Steel and Denim and Leather. :metal:

Good to see an army of likes on Jo's post. There's a lot of goodness and good hearted people on this board. Sometimes we all probably tend to forget and get frustrated/irritated/annoyed with opinions, even Meat himself. But in times of crisis it seems the best of us shines through.

Absolutely right.

I have enjoyed being a Moderator of this board and was proudly member #4. However, for my own good and sanity, I have asked for the green jacket to be removed tonight. I won't allow myself to be wrapped up in another round of semantics again. I no longer feel part of this family. I will remember my time here fondly, but just as Meat Loaf has stopped rockin the tour stage...it is time for me to stop rockin my green jacket here.

God Bless You and never let anyone compromise your beliefs.

No green jacket doesn't mean you're going to keep your opinion to yourself from now? Will it?

A great show Mr Chairboys. Many classics, a few off her newest album and a bit of Tina Turner and Joplin thrown in too!
Very appreciative to the audience....lots of waves, high fives and hand shakes. Connected with the audience well and with a voice that can still hold
its own.
Met her after the show too. Very exciting stuff had a bit of a giggle about the show and my fake welsh accent.
A lovely lady.

Met her afterwards aswell....quick hello and a giggle about my fake welsh accent. Haha.

I think it's a shame when artists don't do what they are good at and get overly obsessed with religion, animals, social media, self pity and other useless nonsense which really is all just private stuff not to be shared with fans or be distracted with, all of which eventually seem to kill their own career. No wonder then when a fan can easily attain a larger crowd at a show than one of the original artists by focusing on the positive and just doing something. Even if the lack of original songs / lack of name/brand recognition must be far more challenging.

The proof, indeed, is often in the pudding.

tonyloaf 02 Mar 2015 15:53
