It's the atmosphere that makes the whole movie. Very well made. Though I dont think I'll be able to watch it again in the near future :shock:

What the hell was that?
Cant believe I spent money for this! Why do so many people say it's the funniest movie in ages? There were two or three moments were I had to smile just from the pure stupidity, but that's all!
Think I'll bring it back to the shop...

Told you so...it was done for ignorant American public...but somehow ignorance is very catchy...

Funnily the ad's over here announced it as a movie that shows the dumbness and ingnorance of the americans...But I dont see any igonrance in two men pretending to hump each other or a a devil as jew. Two or three times I really thought what weird ways of thinking these people must have, but then again, I think many people would just say what he wants to hear to do conversation or small talk.

Well, what they meant is...this is how Americans envision Uzbekhistan and Uzbek people or whatever...

However...beleive it or not...in remote parts of Russia people never heard of jews...but from what they did hear...they envision them as devils...that is actually a true fact...

I actually met a person who while encountering their first Jewish person said...I don't get it...he has two eyes, two arms and two legs...what is so different about him??????????????? Was expecting a devil with horns...

I'm quite shocked now...dunno what to say

I wasn't kidding...poverty breeds ignorance...

However...whatever was depicted in that movie is in no way resembling anything I've seen in former Soviet Union...

oh my GAWD yes... i can't either... he is the only actor that got me into a theater after a famine of 9 years !... last year... March... went to see The Libertine... alone... in a darkened theater... with... :faint: ...

he's gorgeous... breathtaking at times really... AND like you say... he's a good actor !... he can get more across with a wee twitch of an eyebrow or lip than... oh ANYBODY... !!!

and he's the only actor whose films i have a collection of... and...

okay... enough already... i'm getting... too woozie... lol... and my dvd player's on the fritz... why torment myself... lol...

Zebra Lounge ... on TV last night ... very strange!! But Stephan Baldwin redeemed it marginally (the only decent Baldwin in my book!)
