You call doing three things productive? I wish I had your to do list :))

Chris 17 Jan 2007 12:52

But these are over and above the things i had on my to do list for today.

AndyK 17 Jan 2007 12:54

Ahh well, that wasn't clear. In that case, I'll stick to my own to do list. What I have to do today is going to be so much fun :))

Chris 17 Jan 2007 13:08

That is your prerogative to choose Andy,

Now, next on the To Do list - oh yes lunch at the village pub.

Never agree to anything anywhere without thinking first! :))

mszee 17 Jan 2007 15:00

I usually get on a highway...stick behind some car in right lane...and promptly fall asleep...

Today...my sleep was disturbed by the car that was driving in front of me with mere 50 MPH...I mean...if that person was going any slower...they would be moving backwards...

Moral of this story is...if you're driving in front of me...please note that driving below speed limit is NOT conducive to my nap...

LucyK! 17 Jan 2007 15:06

I think come May and time for Wembley it would do us all good to remember that Zina sleeps behind the wheel.....

AndyK 17 Jan 2007 15:09

With any luck, she won't be hiring a car ...

I can't cross the road properly in England...you want me to attempt to drive a car?

No thanks...good thing is you have such a great public transportation....especially when you have to walk miles and miles to get to it...

And I will walk 500 miles...and I will walk 500 more...etc...etc...

mszee 17 Jan 2007 15:27

Why is it...that no matter how many PMs I delete from my PM box it's always 90+% full???

Chris 17 Jan 2007 16:14

At the risk of appearing to be a total geek:

I want a half terabyte RAID array *drools*

Nah...I finally learned how to download them...doesn't look the same without hearts and flowers and bows...but what the heck....

And I STILL have 90+% full...argh....

LucyK! 17 Jan 2007 16:20

Are you deleting your Sent Items??

My sent box is empty...unless it was important...I delete them...or download them and THEN delete them...nah...it's my inbox...argh...

LucyK! 17 Jan 2007 16:24

Go and re-read your Inbox when you have time...I'm like that with text messages, when I re-read them I always find a couple I can delete once they're older...

Been there...done that...hahahahahaahaha...oh god...if anybody saw my PM box...and somebody did.... They would be laughing their ass off...

mszee 17 Jan 2007 16:28

Ponders deleting Hyphobabe's PM with her cell phone number...Claire if I delete that and the thing is lost from my cell where I saved it...would you be mad?

AndyK 17 Jan 2007 16:31

Why not write it down somewhere else? Or download the complete inbox as TXT files to your harddrive? Or memories them all?

mszee 17 Jan 2007 16:33

I have a few downloads already...the entire PM box is one giant memento at this point...

There is no value in my sent box...I never have anything interesting to say...

But I want to keep all those icons that are in PMs...and they are just gone with the wind once downloaded as text...

mszee 17 Jan 2007 16:40

It appears I am one of not so many who is having so many thoughts today...

Just discovered a mountain of boxes of chocolates in company's kitchen...will that Christmas ever end? Will I ever be able to get back my "girlish" figure???

LucyK! 17 Jan 2007 16:43

Ooohh send them over Zina, I could do with some!

Well surely it depends on what's available, needs must and all that :))

LucyK! 17 Jan 2007 17:20

You're right, but in absense of chocolate, Jelly Babies are mega!

djfierce 17 Jan 2007 17:28

mszee 17 Jan 2007 17:34

Just realized that I've opened an excel file in the morning to work on and it's still the same as it was about 4 hours ago...

LucyK! 17 Jan 2007 17:34

Hypnobabe 17 Jan 2007 18:44

That's fine Zina, if you lose it you can always PM me for it again, I promise not to be cross

Now on to the important things....

Who wants the Orange Crunch from my Quality Street tin? And why oh why did they stop making the Peanut Cracknel?

LucyK! 17 Jan 2007 18:54

I would never say no to the Orange crunchy ones...and they stopped making the peanut ones, one because the hurt my teeth, and two because they were far too sickly

The Flying Mouse 17 Jan 2007 19:01

Monstro 17 Jan 2007 22:00

Gutted, two nil down, never seen us play this badly before and the only positive I can take out of the first half is that we're only two down, could've been four!!!!!!

my mum works at sainsburys and the quality street selection tins (fudge/caramel and toffee's) were reduced to a pound  so i've got two tins :p
better than the original tin but those fecking purple ones get everywhere lol

Chris 17 Jan 2007 23:13

OK I have to admit it,

All this talk of Quality Street made me want some so on the way out I swung round via the factory adn got a big bag of the green triangles adn penny toffees.

Time for a ChrisTruFact: My grandad made the machine which used to make the long toffee fingers and my Auntie used to work that machine.

geordieloaf 17 Jan 2007 23:18

firefly 17 Jan 2007 23:30

I'll cheer you up!!!!:lmao:

mszee 18 Jan 2007 00:06

And I STILL don't know what green triangles are...don't think we had those in that tin...better look at it again...on the other hand...I'll just live with what people will explain to me here...if they ever will...

The best thing about the second half was being so disgusted I flicked channels and The Man Who Sued God was on five.

14 Days of the transfer window left, we'll be exiting Europe as well if something isn't done about our defence.

All yours, my lovely... And I'd have saved you from the peanut cracknels, they were my favourites... now I have to fight hubby for the purple ones

Hypnobabe 18 Jan 2007 13:16

How cool is that!! I've just started my last new Jeffrey Deaver only to discover I managed to buy one that he signed which obviously didn't get sold at the book signing! How chuffed am i!!

Chris 18 Jan 2007 14:20

The shop signs were blown off the front of the building half an hour ago.

That bang was the bus shelter opposite setting off down the street :(
