thank F for that!

Have to be honest, my opinion of Meat would seriously take a nosedive if he did either!

allrevvedup 29 Dec 2009 11:57

agreed

Not even for love?

Sorry...couldn't resist lol

meatloaf-unofficial 29 Dec 2009 17:30

Could it be to do with Britains Got Talent, cos the shows next round of Auditions are January + - New Judge? I duuno, just another thought to add haha....

If Meat said its a deal with Universal, its gotta be something that Universal are perhaps running or partnering with or Sponsoring or some music event??

Evil One 29 Dec 2009 17:43

Anything with Simon Cowell is ultimately Sony.

Damn you, you got in before me!:D

I was going to say that at last we had the answer to what that was. But now it's ruined. Unless everyone is happy to lol still? ;)

Oh and so happy to hear Mat is not doing one of those shite shows. He is far too famous and respectable to appear on anything with "celebrity" in the title!

Cult Of Byron 29 Dec 2009 19:53

Nothing like ripping the mystique out of the song, is there!? : "I would do anything for love, but I won't go on I'm a Celebrity..." Would love to see Jim weave that into the chorus ;)

I'll be dog garn... so famous I spelt his NAME wrong! :panic::doh:

No idea who Mat is - so sorry Meat!

Another innocent victim of my poor typing.:shrug:

Byron - Jim can work ANYTHING into a song... who would have thought that "Out Of The Frying Pan And Into The Fire" would make a great rock song! Always makes me laugh (in a good way, because I love it) when Meat sings "Out Of The Frying Pan" and the backing singers sing "And Into The Fire".

Good man, I knew you were above that kind of crap. Great to have it confirmed though. :D

It's about time to talk about the side effects of Meat Loaf's tweets. Got a Rick Brantley CD today and can't stop listening to it. It was just a few little videos that got me interested in the guy's music. Thanks, Meat, you're a good promoter! ;)

suzieq 05 Jan 2010 20:01

My major side effect from Meat's tweets was that I've become a big fan of Ghost Hunters/T.A.P.S. Agreed, Meat is a good promoter. By the way, do we know when Brian May's book hit the shelf?

Not even Meat could make me watch another episode of that show - sorry.

As far as I know it was released in October 2009 but is currently out of stock. I heard there's a reprint announced for this month. I hope it will be available again soon as I'm really interested in it.

Brantley's writing is worth a read. I can't buy any of his stuff at present moment but I really do enjoy reading his lyrics.

Yep, that's what I call good lyrics. Brantley is a really gifted songwriter. I'm just listening to Living On The Outside - fantastic!

I'm glad that we can probably expect some classic storytelling on Meat's next album.

"Come on, baby just die with me, yeah, baby just die with me" instead of "I want you to cry over me, die over me". :D

Revisited tweet: ESPN interview w/Meat. The show is called 30 for 30, Silly Little Game. We'll need to keep this on our radar as well. The original tweet said airing around February.
The website for it http://30for30.espn.com notes information coming soon in 2010.
