As a fairly new member myself, I can understand how difficult it is to "jump in and have fun". The MLUKFC is a big happy family and although that is a wonderful thing sometimes it can be daunting (like gatecrashing a family party) but believe me, everybody makes you feel welcome and part of the family once you make yourself known.

It is lovely to be welcomed into the club but then you have to put a little bit of effort in to introduce yourselves to the other members. Once over the shyness it's worth it believe me. Good people, good laughs, good fun.

So come on, lets hear from you all.

plukie, I was very interested to read your thoughts, never thought that it could be daunting because we were too friendly :? although now I have thought about i can see your point, people might think it was too tightly knit?

I sincerely hope all new member take plukie's advise and pluck up the courage(if needed) and join in.

I really like the picture of MLUKFC being a big happy family, but dont forget families have their own up's and downs and if anyone's worried about gatecrashing the party.............believe me as long as you bring a bottle thats fine :wink:

It is true original sin. I'm also fairly new to the site and the way you all knew each other was slightly off putting. I'm not saying you should change of course. I more saying to new members to not worry. Just post and add your comments and you'll begin to settle in nicely.

I'd just like to take a moment to introduce myself - you've probably all heard of me - i know, apparently, i'm quite famous in some parts. It's a cross i have to bear. My family is good at bearing crosses...but well..that's another story. 8O

As God, i have power over everything living and dead, but please, don't let that put you off - I'm really kind of approachable once you get to know me :P

I know the fact that i know all and see all might be a little disconcerting to some, but i promise i'll spare your blushes :wink: I pomise i won't mention the fact that Original Sin loves her cream cakes two at a time, or that The Flying Mouse like a tipple or five after work in an evening. And i promise faithfully that i won't utter a word about Heat's fear of fishies 8O

It may come as a surprise to learn that i actually am a Meat Loaf fan - think about it though - who else have i blessed with a voice like an angel??? - and NO, Charlotte Church doesn't count - That was Gabriel messing around, but don't worry..he has been punished...severely :twisted: Lets just say...after 48 hours of straight listening to the squeaky welsh one...he learnt the error of his ways :wink:

Anyway, my beautiful creations, i shall bid you so long. I hope to talk to you soon.
