10:45pm German time. But Thomas Gottschalk always overruns, so probably till midnight…

chairboys 03 Dec 2011 22:20

maybe Meat will play for an extra 20mins!!

unbekannt 03 Dec 2011 22:38

That would make the show a lot more interesting…

The show is certainly a lot slower than what we are used to in the UK and US, well it feels that way- it feels very casual and relaxed.

its cause there are no commercial breaks.

unbekannt 03 Dec 2011 23:07

Some might call it boring…

chairboys 03 Dec 2011 23:08

perhaps it's the language thing?

wizardofodd 03 Dec 2011 23:11

Well ZDF is basically a German BBC as i understand it? I know a little German so perhaps it is a language barrier but i also study/work in television production and it certainly feels a lot slower- i guess the live element and it not being over edited comes into play but generally it just feels very comfortable and less hectic although it does drag.

duke knooby 03 Dec 2011 23:29
