Rosti is grated veggies, mixed with egg, then shallow fried in pan to make a pancake type thingy. Spuds are best for this, methinks...

I´ll never understand british food.....

Now now, not everything I say will be British, it's actually West Indian as far as I'm away it's a somewhat like a pancake, but it's made out of dough and then you fill it with curry.

I know some West Indian food - worked for years with Guyanese...but could never remember the names of the foods I was eating...

Do we have any of these Bat III beer mats in this fine establishment? Need something to put my glass of wine down on as I obviously don't want to leave any drips on the beautiful wooden tables :D

It's actually a Guyanese family I go to, to get my roti's. They make the best Roti's mine are way inferior compared to their's.

Then it must be I've eaten it without knowing the name...we used to share each other's food...and had those little International parties since none of us were Americans...
