Everything I've seen of it, and the comments from those who have received it, suggest the DVD will do that all on its own ;) Just with the added bonus no-one will be singing flat in your ear, or shoving you out of the way to grab a flying pick

Have now seen it, watched on my HD computer screen (not in HD, so thats irrelevant) and listened through my Bower's and Wilkin's P5 Headphones, which produce some of the most natural sound that you can get your ears around.

6.5/10

Better than 3 Bats but not better than MSO

Band sounds good, in terms of vocals, it has it high points (Peace on Earth) but it definitely has its low points.

High points for me:
Peace on Earth
Took the Words
Stand in the Storm
Band is super tight, can't get much better in terms of a group of talented players.
Patti sounds exceptional
Guitar intro to 2 outta 3

Criticisms:

Lighting is just simply too dark IMO, call it ambiance if you want, but it just didn't work for me.

IMO Anything for Love just doesn't sound like itself without the piano riff in the beginning, prefer the current tour arrangement. Also one of the weakest vocal performances of the night (again IMO)

Not a huge fan of the stacked backing vocals, it sounds like a Norman Luboff Choir in the back during the whole thing.

Don't care much for the violin, doesn't fit with most of the songs, works beautifully with POE and 2 outta 3 though

The echo is so f***ing distracting, and it is everywhere, like nearly every track. It makes me want to pull my hair out. It sounds fake and just distracts from the main course, would love to have heard it minus the echo, because with the exception of 1 or 2 songs it doesn't sound like that live.

6.5/10

You seem to be the only one that it annoys, so not an issue, and seeing as even you managed to give it a 6.5 I rate it as a win. Can't wait for mine to turn up :)

prior to the show the front room is made into darkness, dry ice around the room with a small purle light around the tv giving it the stage effect,

i will hire someone for the night to stand in the kitchen and serve up food and drink on request, also someone with all my mech to choose from.

security on the front door,

and the arena sound systerm turned up to the max

just a normal night really :D

I haven't got the time to write up a review, but I'm about 75% through the DVD and I think its amazing.

Personally the echo wasn't an issue. I barely noticed it if I'm honest and I felt it added something when it was noticeable. As for the lighting issue, it looks so much better on the DVD than it did on YouTube.

The band sound great and so does Meat. Rock and Roll Dreams is my favourite, it was so good! Good job Meat! £12 well spent lol :D x

There is one Guilty Pleasure torrent out at the moment so sadly yes it could be. And it's only 105mb so there's no way that could be decent quality.

I'm aware that some think I'm a joke with my antipathy towards bootlegs/pirate copies .. but when I think of the effort, planning, work and care that Meat and others have put into this DVD, that there is a torrent people can grab for nothing as far as the performer is concerned before even today's release date, it simply reinforces my view. The world HAS gone to hell in a handbasket of entitlement in my view :(

No it wasn't. I have a hookup over there in a retail distribution environment who sent it to me as soon as he could get his hands on it. It arrived Friday afternoon. So what I saw was in fact the real deal, whole enchilada, bought and paid for with express shipping

I don't deal with bootlegs much especially on something like this. I will admit to owning a MMW tour bootleg but that's about it.

I wonder if it is even real? 2 hours plus at 105 MB seems way too low, it would be unwatchable. I will wait until October 18th when Amazon says I will receive my US copy and hook up the soundbar and flatscreen. It is only around $10, why would anyone who really wanted it even bother with downloading a 105 MB copy?

If I was guessing I would say that it is only a tip of the audio cd and not the DVD , but most of the sites I have seen it on label it as a scam so I wouldn't bother with it

I wasn't saying to bother with it, I was just answering Caryls question that sadly there is one out there. I would never download this.

Nor was I, I was just warning people not to, because it is likely virus and malware ridden

Next portion not directed at anyone in particular

I do enjoy the Fact that even though I got mine from a legitimate source and paid a hefty sum to have it early that I am now a bootlegger.

I swear, anything to try and discredit an opinion that isn't 100% positive

No one said you were. Caryl asked a perfectly legitimate question. She never said you were.

Btw I actually want to thank you as I felt your review was in fact respectful and fairly written. I may not agree with your review, but like I say I respect it because it was written fairly and respectfully.

Its cool

While it may not go down as a favorite of mine, it's a respectable release and its better than I originally thought it would be
