Have now seen it, watched on my HD computer screen (not in HD, so thats irrelevant) and listened through my Bower's and Wilkin's P5 Headphones, which produce some of the most natural sound that you can get your ears around.
6.5/10 Better than 3 Bats but not better than MSO Band sounds good, in terms of vocals, it has it high points (Peace on Earth) but it definitely has its low points. High points for me: Peace on Earth Took the Words Stand in the Storm Band is super tight, can't get much better in terms of a group of talented players. Patti sounds exceptional Guitar intro to 2 outta 3 Criticisms: Lighting is just simply too dark IMO, call it ambiance if you want, but it just didn't work for me. IMO Anything for Love just doesn't sound like itself without the piano riff in the beginning, prefer the current tour arrangement. Also one of the weakest vocal performances of the night (again IMO) Not a huge fan of the stacked backing vocals, it sounds like a Norman Luboff Choir in the back during the whole thing. Don't care much for the violin, doesn't fit with most of the songs, works beautifully with POE and 2 outta 3 though The echo is so f***ing distracting, and it is everywhere, like nearly every track. It makes me want to pull my hair out. It sounds fake and just distracts from the main course, would love to have heard it minus the echo, because with the exception of 1 or 2 songs it doesn't sound like that live. 6.5/10 |
You seem to be the only one that it annoys, so not an issue, and seeing as even you managed to give it a 6.5 I rate it as a win. Can't wait for mine to turn up :)

I haven't got the time to write up a review, but I'm about 75% through the DVD and I think its amazing.
Personally the echo wasn't an issue. I barely noticed it if I'm honest and I felt it added something when it was noticeable. As for the lighting issue, it looks so much better on the DVD than it did on YouTube. The band sound great and so does Meat. Rock and Roll Dreams is my favourite, it was so good! Good job Meat! £12 well spent lol :D x |

I don't deal with bootlegs much especially on something like this. I will admit to owning a MMW tour bootleg but that's about it. Sent from my iPhone using Forum Runner |

Next portion not directed at anyone in particular I do enjoy the Fact that even though I got mine from a legitimate source and paid a hefty sum to have it early that I am now a bootlegger. I swear, anything to try and discredit an opinion that isn't 100% positive Sent from my iPhone using Forum Runner |

Btw I actually want to thank you as I felt your review was in fact respectful and fairly written. I may not agree with your review, but like I say I respect it because it was written fairly and respectfully. |
