Freezing here, it's been snowing on and off all day but just been outside and the sky's looking dark - think I'm in for some fun driving tomorrow morning!

I've been outside with the kids, throwing snowballs, making snowmen and snow angels... My house wall is covered in splattered snowballs - guess whose face i was imagining there..... :twisted:

I've got a lovely stew bubbling away in the kitchen... just right for a cold snowy day...

Days like today I sometimes wish I'd got a goldfish or a parrot rather than the muppet, pets like that don't have to be walked in the cold!

You do have to defrost the goldfish bowl tho'...

I'd have artic goldfish ... they'd be ok in winter.

Terrible isn't it ... it snows south of the M62 and the country grinds to a halt, anyone would think it hadn't happened last year, or the year before that ...

I sound like such an old woman but it really is shocking the way everything comes to a stand still - a few years ago we had to quite literally dig our back door free so we could open it, then it was everyone out into the street to do the road!

Thinking back to my Uni interview at Plymouth now ... the grit was deeper on the road than the snow that had fallen over night, yet still the city was gridlocked!!

I've had my porridge and strawberries now, so I'm feeling much better...

Think I'd feel worse after that mix!

It's lovely... porridge and a splash of golden syrup, with fresh strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, apricot, banana..... yummy

And best of all, it fills me up so I don't nibble throughout the day, and I've lost half a stone since New Year!
