Did anybody notice how easy it is to make Michael laugh???

Can't wait for May to see Michael and Andy together and Michael p*ssing himself laughing...that should be something to see...although maybe not smell...

AndyK 11 Feb 2007 21:34

Monstro 12 Feb 2007 16:24

See, THAT'S what a lack of bread and dripping will do to you!!!!

LucyK! 12 Feb 2007 16:27

You honestly have no idea how true that is Michael!! My step-dad can't eat red meat anymore so we don't have beef anymore!!

Might have to do that this weekend hon!

AndyK 12 Feb 2007 16:28

Hmmm roast beef dinner ... with all the trimmings!!! :))

Monstro 12 Feb 2007 16:29

WHAT????? No BEEF????? You need to drop severe hints before someone goes shopping!!!!

LucyK! 12 Feb 2007 16:30

lol I don't do hints ;)

Monstro 12 Feb 2007 16:32

Just tell him then lol

Some people don't need telling ... ;-)

Monstro 12 Feb 2007 16:40

Yeah, but who cooks it?????

AndyK 12 Feb 2007 16:41

Only a yorkshireman can cook a proper roast dinner ... (and that way he doesn't have to wash up :)) )

My Mum's a yorkshireman???????????

AndyK 12 Feb 2007 16:45

I've no idea, I've never met her (him :?)

Monstro 12 Feb 2007 16:46

She cooks proper roast dinners though

LucyK! 12 Feb 2007 16:46

Well that saves me a job...! Though I'll point out that both of my parents are from Yorkshire ( though we only mention the decent half of that! )

AndyK 12 Feb 2007 16:48

I can see a cookery masterclass happening ;-)

There's a decent half to Yorkshire????

Monstro 12 Feb 2007 16:48

Would the others be indecent????

AndyK 12 Feb 2007 16:50

No there isn't a decent half to Yorkshire ... all of it's decent (except perhaps the surroundings of a certain mill town)

LucyK! 12 Feb 2007 16:51

My wonderful Mum - Mummy Meat Loaf as she has now been named - is from North Yorkshire, as it should be

My Dad is from the land of the newsagents...

Monstro 12 Feb 2007 16:51

AH, wondered where you lived lol

I bet the accent still doesn't make any sense to you though does it ;)

Monstro 12 Feb 2007 17:00

Was Andy that was directed at lol

And your accent comes over more on the phone, they obviously were lacking in telephone voice training at the finishing school!!!!!!

LucyK! 12 Feb 2007 17:02

lol first thing I said to Andy when I came off that phonecall was "sorry - been speaking to Michael!"

On a one-to-one like that it comes out, it's situations like RAH that it all goes bizarre!

AndyK 12 Feb 2007 17:03

Me?

Depends when you mean ... born South Yorkshire, dragged up North Yorkshire, escaped to the land of the Smoggies for a 3 year sentence before serving 2 years on remand on Lancashire and then 10 years of missionary work in Dorset before emigrating to Cheshire ... and people wonder where my Yorkshire accent went :lmao:

Except it was said in a true Byker Grove accent :lmao:

LucyK! 12 Feb 2007 17:06

You'll pay for that one King

Monstro 12 Feb 2007 17:07

Ten mins on the phone to me will kill any finishing school training lol

LucyK! 12 Feb 2007 17:08

Still makes me laugh that you said that, I can't think of anyone who'd be thrown out of finishing school quicker!

So, I pay for passing the comment that backs up your own statement from further up the thread ... don't you just love female illogic? :lmao:

LucyK! 12 Feb 2007 17:12

You're meant to defend me and be nice to me, with comments lile "honey you've got the least Geordie/northern accent I've ever heard" !! Not "it was said in a Byker Grove accent!!"

AndyK 12 Feb 2007 17:14

Well, since you know I love your telephone voice, how can you think otherwise? And by your own admission one conversation with Michael did send your accent towards to NE ... which is why you had to talk to a more refined Yorkshireman afterwards to bring it back to it's normal dulcet tones.

Monstro 12 Feb 2007 17:14

Ah, the memories of Ant and Dec

LucyK! 12 Feb 2007 17:32

Absolutely! Can't stand people sucking up and saying what they think people want to hear, it doesn't achieve anything!
