Pirates of the Carribbean Dead Man's Chest last night, and I'm currently watching Snatch, having been oogling Brad Pitt in Fight Club the other night

Saw 2 movies on Wednesday at the cinema (both not my choice I have to say).

First one:
The Dark is Rising.
(this is an extract what I wrote about it on IMDB:

This movie is a total joke in my opinion. From the lame story line to the absolute stealing of ideas from other movies such as "Harry Potter", "Lord of the Rings", "The Matrix" and "The Goonies". That would not be so bad had it been executed well. I couldn't find anything good about this film at all if I am being honest. Perhaps some of the special effects were okay but that is very easy to get done properly these days I think. I thought the story was bad, the music was the bad and the acting was terrible. Probably the first time I ever felt I wanted to leave the cinema during a film. I cannot understand why this movie made it to the cinema if I compare it to other ones which do not. This movie simply insults the intelligence of the viewer and that is made worse by the fact that it is more aimed to children. Absolutely awful and a waste of time.

2nd film: Rendition; VERY Good, very moving, well acted. Quality film.

Hot Fuzz.. :lol: It was really hilarious..

Most of The Ninth Gate on Sunday night, followed by most of Double Jeopardy last night... and it was the back end of both, in case you were wondering...

coyote ugly i ain't seen that film in years but i felt like watching it tonight

Layer Cake - really enjoyed that one! and the first half of The Pursuit of Happyness, which I've already seen once at the cinema.

Last film was Four Weddings And A Funeral, and I can't believe that that was the first time I've ever seen the end!!
