Of course the theater should be open on a Sunday, especially for matinées.It's when most people are off work and able to go. Listening now to Not Alone Anymore - Traveling Wilburys. |

He wears triple E boobs for most of the week... I think he can be forgiven for not wanting to don them for a seventh day in the week, bare in mind he has to don the fat suit etc aswell. And he enjoys Hairspray very much or he would not have extended his contract till April next year. No I think it's a fair comment because alot goes into a performance. |

 If he don't want to act on Sunday, that's his choice, but that's not to say that theater should be closed on Sunday.
If he wants to take Sunday off, all well and good. If they want a production of Hairspray on Sundays then give it to the understudy. Hell, give the understudy a couple of nights a week and spread the wealth a little (both cash and experience, the later being the more lucrative IMHO). Saying theater should be closed because you don't want to work that day is going a little far  |
That is true I agree but I know not to go on a Monday as that's his day off and given that he does his radio show from 11AM to 1PM on Sunday's then I can see how he wouldn't want to work on a Sunday, however I'm sure his walk on study or whatever that name is, it's not an understudy but I forget the right name now something like that would probably do it providing Ian isn't off who plays Wilbur because he does both Edna and Wilbur.
But yes it would make a killing I'm sure if theatre's in the WE opened on Sundays, even if it was the Matinee like you said ;). |
