Probably about a month ago...

Did you ever borrow anything and never gave it back?
If so, what was it?

Hypnobabe 16 Mar 2007 20:43

Nope, but I've had people borrow from me and never give it back... Including my sister who borrowed something and then gave it to my other sister!

What's your favourite novel?

mszee 16 Mar 2007 23:23

I think the most impact though I've received from reading Color Purple by Alice Walker

If you could have written any song, what song would you like to have written and why?

mszee 16 Mar 2007 23:30

It would have been a long ballad something like FCOL...why? Because that would have been my style if I could actually write.

What is your favorite song to sing in the shower/karaoke/anywhere at all?

Hypnobabe 16 Mar 2007 23:34

I've got so many favourite songs, but I can't sing them... The one I seem to be singing most often at the moment is I Wish I Was A Punk Rocker, purely because it's in my range and I like the words.

What's The Worst Place You Ever Broke Down?

Rockette 17 Mar 2007 06:35

That's a difficult one to nail. It's a t.oss up between the middle of a rail crossing, and the entrance ramp to a major freeway during peak hour.

What's your most embarrassing restaurant moment?

allrevvedup 17 Mar 2007 12:57

Managing to send a carton of mcdonalds fries flying 10 feet takes some doing and is pretty impressive!

Which sport can you not understand at all?

Hypnobabe 17 Mar 2007 13:25

Cricket... and rugby... I understand men run up and down in litte shorts with lots of big muscles, but I don't understand the scoring for either of them...

If it were up to you, which film would you have given the Best Picture Oscar to? Not necessarily one that was nominated, but a film released this year...

What's your favourite famous quotation?

Betty 17 Mar 2007 17:17

Actually there are a few quotations I like...
Dunno if they are famous itself, but they´re said by famous persons ;)
Ellen Degeneres:
"I ask people why they have deer heads on their walls. They always say because it's such a beautiful animal. There you go. I think my mother is attractive, but I have photographs of her."
Always makes me laugh!!
Another one of Ellen:
"Sometimes the greatest things are the most embarrassing."
True, eh?

Alan Rickman:
"I do take my work seriously and the way to do that is not to take yourself too seriously."
YEP!!
Second one:
"I love America because whenever I go home -- there's something about England and coming from England-- but as soon as you walk down the steps of the plane you shrink. And you have to start saying "sorry" and being polite and curtsying and things like that... America just lets me be the klutz I really am."

What was the last thing you bought? (not via internet! ;) )

Hypnobabe 17 Mar 2007 18:03

Funny you should ask - it involved a cat - two cats actually. :-) One tom cat was hassling our neutered female feline, so I decided to keep a loaded water pistol by the front door each night.

Tom came acallin', I dash out of bed, grab pistol, and out onto the front pavement squirting said tom. It was then that I realised how I was unattired.

Made a speedy retreat, to find hubby in hysterics, wondering how long it was going to take before I realised what I was doing. Or rather, HOW I was doing it.

 SO! Now for your worst bathroom moment?

Hypnobabe 23 Mar 2007 23:03

Nothing terribly embarrasing, actually, just things like having a glass of wine in the bath and slipping when I tried to get out, or being the size of a beached whale while pregnant and having to be hoisted out of the bath by my husband...

How much does it take to get you drunk?

Monstro 23 Mar 2007 23:15

Too much.........

Best memory

Hypnobabe 23 Mar 2007 23:21

Hmmm... probably my first Meat concert at Chatsworth House, mainly because of the company... ;)
