yay i was gutted i didnt get to see her on the cancelled tour, i'm really looking forward to this :))

There's an interview with Pearl here, seems she's only doing half the tour though, as the full Velvet Revolver UK tour starts on March 15th.

Luckily that was one of the places that wasn't damaged in the fire last week and i'm in Oz so if anyone needs a bed for the night the flat sleeps 3 or even 4 at a push as long as they dont mind Sam and Marvin!!

Well what can i say in this brief time i have. ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!!!!!!!! :CHEERS: M has all the great pics so he'll get round to it this afternoon, we've gotta go pick casey up now. Dopey here forgot to charge her camera so it dies after a couple of pics :oops: Sound set up was pretty bad but Pearl looked amazing and sounded great when the sound was ok. Set list: http://media.mlxxfc.net/pearl gig 228.JPG 'Whore' was amazing, scott told the crowd that 'nobody' had been played the day before on a major rock station (i forgot which one he said sorry) i really liked 'nutbush' as well, nice to see a little nod to older classic rock songs as well. Probably the hardest rocking version of 'cherry bomb' i've ever heard too. It was only a small venue but it was pretty packed and the crowd really seemed to enjoy it as did we :)) She does deserve a much bigger venue/stage though, i am gutted i didnt get to see her with Meat in Nov. Nice to finally meet you Michelle, although i have to admit i haven't quite recovered from the experience just yet ;) also nice to meet you too Stu, look forward to doing it again at a Meat show. As always an absolute pleasure to see Deb and Dave again, can't wait to do it again with you guys :-P Anyway i think i've rambled enough. Hope this all makes sense Diane :)) |

Yes it was nutbush city limits and it was an awesome rendition. The whole set sounded cool, though as i said before the sound set up was poor so alot of the time you struggled to hear pearl above the band but when you did omg what a voice!!! If any of you guys have her performing near you i strongly suggest you go and see her, she was headlining last night whereas i understand she is supporting for the other shows but still worth a look :)) |

Me and hubby had an absolutely great night, the company was fab, Michael, Anji, Deb and Dave:)))
Pearl was truely superb, she has one hell of a voice! The sound system could have been a bit better, but it still rocked! Scott Ian was superb on guitar:)) I preferred Pearl singing her own stuff, LovePyre is a real fave of mine. All the songs on her EP were really rocking! We bought another EP,( even thou i have one) cos there is an extra track on it which is called Anything. I would love to see Pearl headlining, i would go to every show! Not much to add as the others have said it all :cool: Pearl looked amazing and as beautiful as ever. The sound wasn't the best but I find these smaller venues are always like that with heavier sets. CC was the same and so was Hurricane Party when I saw them in a smaller setting.
I really feel like i've watched Pearl grow up over the last 10 yrs. From a very sweet and shy backing singer with her dad. To the Superstar she is now. But even now she is still the most kind,gentle and sweet person. While still being a 'Rock Star' I didn't realise the others had their flashes on and wondered why their pics looked so good when I looked at them as they took them lol. So I left my flash off till the end and got a few before Pearl left the stage. The Easter Bunnies taken over my day so i'll try and post some later. I do have loads of M, Anji, Stu and the looney Michelle though. Chelle, you forgot Paul ;) not sure how you could though lol. Also the pic of M was when he was taking one of all 4 of us lol. you're such a fw ;) Diane I missed you :-( wish you could've made it. Thanks to the 4 of you for a really great night. Thanks to Saint Stu and Michelle for yesterday :lol: What started as a quick coffee turned into almost 12 hrs of chat and laughter lol. But it was worth every 'frozen' moment. But at least we got that 1 t shirt that we knew would be just waiting for us somewhere Chelle ;) Deb |
