It was officially recorded at 2 of The SAS shows last Dec. They will be selling it at the convention this weekend no doubt. Patti will be on it loads and ya never know some ugly mugs from here may have even made their way into some crowd shots :-P

So if anyone wants me to grab them a copy, let me know........

As I went to the show in December I would absoultely love a copy of the DVD and CD if one is available, thanks so much.
Hate not having much money or if I was in a job I would have tried my hardest to of been there this w/end. I sure do miss Patti but I will be thinking of her, I always do and if there is the likes of a DVD and CD then I would love one too just to relive the memorys and watch Patti perform and know that I was there one of the nights, Thank you :cool:.

I forgot they also do cds of the show recorded so there will be a cd and dvd available of that (possibly) But the other artists there have thier own stuff for sale as well. JSS did last time. As did some of the others. I have a feeling Patti may have one as well. so this is another possibilty as well :cool: so when I said cd I actually meant this one, but i'm more than happy to buy any that anyone wants - as in cd / dvd of show and a Patti cd if there is one for sale. (PLEASE GOD LOL)

To anyone who didn't make it to the SAS Band gigs, this DVD will be worth every single penny...I just listened to the original of Under Pressure and honestly got goosebumps remembering Patti's performance of this with Jeff Scott Soto, she was outstanding :up:

Really wish I could've afforded a weekend's worth just to see this, we'll be thinking of Patti and know we're missing one hell of an act!!!!!

I actually have no photo's of patti. I have a couple of very crap short clips, but Deb is the main girl for that stuff. I think i was too busy dancing! lol

The weather was crap, the accomodation was as crap (if not more so :-P ) The Red Sox, Patti and JJS made it all worth while though :cool:

Heli would have had a better time than we did Barb as she likes Pontins, Queen and has many friends there lol. not that we don't like Queen but we would never have gone to one of their conventions :shock:

This weekend has to go down as being the worst thing i've done in the name of Meat or Meat related stuff. And it made me realise just how much i need all my NLE under the one roof lol. So the 'bring back Patti campaign' is well and truly under way :lol: I can't stand another weekend in a Pontins chalet lol.

So Patti touring Pontin's in the Summer wouldn't solve your holiday problems Deb? lol

was that bad eh Deb,never been myself a couple of friends have and said it was crap,pictures are great,little ones are lovely,Chloe looks so much like you..i would definately support "bring back Patti"campaign,she is awesome...

Thanks to Steph for the video. Stephs are much less distorted than mine so i'll add Stephs first. mine are a lot more distorted but I think I got about all of patti on stage lol. So it's quality versus quantity ;)

And Deb's right, you have to really wanna be there for the whole weekend to grin and bare Pontins, although in all honesty I dont think it's too bad....the only awful part if the beds. But I only actually slept in mine once, so I avoided the pain and agony of the single crappy bed! :p

There should so be a Meat Loaf convention, it'd be hilarious!! :-P

Don't worry Di you get to see them pretty soon :-) They are both sooo excited eevrytime they see Patti on my computer now. They can't work out how they was there speaking to her one min and now she's on the monitor lol.

Not sure if anyone else has noticed this, but Meat fans say Patti totally different to how anyone else does. Others say exactly the same thing but it just doesn't have the same ring to it. No matter how many times Jake and chloe say it, it still suprises me lol. I noticed it with Queen fans all weekend as well lol.

Heli you must have your glasses off or be drunk the whole time you're in them chalets if you think it's only the beds thats bad lol. And I have pictures to prove its not just the beds :-P

Memories of waking up to the quacking of ducks right outside your window, stepping over the evidence that those same ducks spent a good deal of time outside the door as well (and on every walkable surface at Pontin's), and then walking around those lovely chalets in such a way that your feet never actually have contact with that carpet, all do have a certain charm to them. I should have known something was up when the UK immigration officer glanced at the destination I wrote down and then looked at me with raised eyebrows and asked, "Really?? Why, uhmmm, Pontin's at Brean Sands?"

Thanks for uploading those videos, Deb. I'm sorry about the quality vs. quantity thing. I just have such a hard time watching the performance on my camera's little screen when the real thing is right there in front of me. I know I'm always grateful for the pics and vids later on, though. You really do sacrifice a tiny bit of your own enjoyment of a show when you capture the experience to share with everyone. I am a constant frustration to you at these shows, aren't I :D But at least I did try the Marmite. Thanks for that lovely experience, as well!! :-P I think I can still taste it.........

As Deb said, she really wasn't feeling well and told the crowd at the beginning she'd even lost her voice a few days prior. She may have fought her way through the show, but you'd never know it! Even Patti's voice at 50% is a remarkable thing. Not that it was, however she managed to pull it off that night! The crowd was so much fun that night, and so receptive, too. Perhaps because when she first came on stage, she introduced herself as just another Queen fan! :D
