I think Meat and Jim are very good friends, but sometimes business gets in the way.

Good news but was that video really necessary?

Yes it was, No one and I mean no one has a right to say anything about my video. It worked and Jim reached out to me this morning. I was worried. If you think for one minute I would ask anyone other than Jim you are sadly mistaken. I know Jim very well. As his mother said years ago " You know Jim better than I do" People have tried too divide us but they never will and never can. Jim knows I love him very much. Anyone who thought I was wrong to post the video can go ~~~~ themselves . It was their ego and believing they are important. They are not important . Jim was what was important to me. Video is now being removed . It worked . Jim and myself have something know one can ever understand and can never tear apart no matter how hard they try.

No offense intended, Meat. I didn't say the video was "right" or "wrong", I just asked a question (without judging anything), since it was a very unusual way to investigate on how a friend is doing.

It wasn't just you. Some others who will remain nameless, said I was wrong. I didn't know they were the boss of Jim. I always believe Jim was the boss of Jim. He is !! Anyway ,like I would ask them,Right !!! When hell freezes over. If the tables were turned and Jim was asking about me . I would hope that people around me would understand and respond in a loving way. I believe they would. Egos put aside. It is 2010 and the internet I believe is a communication tool. Speaking of tools ... I believe I know where some might be lurking. Oh no !!! Call out the Dogs of War !!

That was a ballsy move and clearly the right one. The Rockman Record was obviously keeping everyone in the dark, for whatever reason. The truth is sometimes not so easy to find or get to, so unconventional means are sometimes necessary.

Meat has removed the video...I would have liked to at least seen it...

Health problems are private matters, the decision whether the public should be informed about them should be left to the person who is sick. Everybody have the right to their privacy. Being a fan does not automatically entitle you to know everything about someone's private life or personal problems.

well done Meat for doing what you had to do and thankfully Jim is ok...

As for us all being in the know, i do get tired of the whole "public must know" routine...they (Jim and his associates) wanted to keep it private so they kept it private, should be the end of and be all really.

If I were seriously ill for whatever reason, then I just hope there are people out there who care enough to want to move heaven and earth to find out how I am doing and to send me their best wishes.

Meat has explained his reasons, he shouldn't have to justify his actions, but he graciously he did. That should be the end of the matter.

The fact that Meat was so concerned that he did this speaks volumes about how much Jim means to him. We should all be so lucky as to have a friend who is that concerned for us.

I'm glad you heard from him Meat, I hope he has a speedy recovery.

Basically Meat was concerned because Jim was going in for surgery towards the end of January and he hadn't heard from him so he posted a video asking if anyone knew how Jim was.

Thankfully, he's now heard from Jim.

And if Meat gets irked when he's being challenged for doing just that (not necessarily here I'd point out) he has every right to express it, to tell us how he feels. If Meat were not an emotional, passionate and compassionate man I doubt many of us would be so drawn to him as a person, and to the passion in his delivery on stage.
