Just to let you know, when I right clicked on the box with the red X and selected "show picture" it came up fine ... very strange.

I did mine by putting it onto my MSN profile. When the picture showed in my profile I clicked it so only the picture was showing. I then copied and pasted the address bar and then clicked the img button in here, pressed ctrl + v and img again and it worked

Not sure about anyone else but I am finding it quite odd putting faces to names! No-one ever seems to look like you expect them to!!

When I right click your red X and paste the source code of your pic into my browser I can view it. Maybe you could just post a link if it won't work the other way. That's how I did mine.

thanks, its going to be leavers ball dress next year, God that dress was the bane of my existance for 5 months, all be impressed i was 15 when i made it, with basically no pattern and no help, except my mother very patiently pinning the hem to the correct length whilst i stood on a table- lol ahhhhh the memories :D

As it was my idea for the thread I'll try to help :?

I you need a picture stored on the web somewhere that can be accessed by either adding a picture link or a clickable link to your message. A number of things stop it working, this includes posting a link to a password protected site - i did this and it means that your computer will display the message showing the picture but anybody else accessing it will just get the red cross of doom. Try a full refresh of the page to see if its worked, you can always edit afterwards.

Thanks Luke - my ony pic on the web is a small one to my Tiscali business site, so I used that!

Would have liked to have used a larger pic, thought I could do this by scanning a picture!

Ermmmm... well you have to find a site where you can upload your picture for free. I did it at www.picit.com - and luckily it seems to be working now... :D You have to upload it to a site which allows you to use the pic elsewhere in the net (in this case, our forums :wink: ). I tried uploading my pic to yahoo.com first, but that didn't work!

My boyfriend took the pic so I wouldn't have to pay a photographer (It was for a show my old dance troupe was doing) I'd say he did a pretty good job- he even got me to stop giggling long enought to snap it :lol:

Yes, big hearts can be a burden, I find myself having a lot of difficulty where I live (Toronto) because it's a big city, and people don't seem to care about much. There are so many homeless people that get ignored- it takes me forever to get to work just because I won't ignore them. (I don't always give money, but I at least acknowledge that they exist and apologize that I cannot give them any change)

Fortunately, my boy has a heart that could crush a building, so I'm well taken care of in the kindness department :D

It sounds like you know the burden from experience, do you suffer from cardiac gigantism as well? :)

That, and it's constantly pinned on my sleeve. It's easily bruised.

I think if my mother was so beautiful I'd do incest! :D

I have a friend who is COMPLETELY DROP DEAD GORGEOUS- to the point where if she wasn't as nice and wonderfull as she is, I'd totally hate her :lol: And she's 29, and has NEVER had a boyfriend...yet so many men think she's phenomenal looking...you just never know- the right guy will eventually work up the nerve (In my case, I worked up the nerve to nab the right guy myself- screw waiting for him :lol: )
