I despise comments like that !!!

I think she's a great artist the fact she's Meat's kid is an added bonus !

I'm sure Pearl having a millionaire, multi-platinum Grammy winning rockstar Dad will have no influence whatsoever on the sale of the EP

Personally, I don't rate the EP much, it's not my cup of tea at all. But good luck to Pearl.

I bought the album from her site...and have to say Killing trend is the best song on it....don;t know about this though...cause i haven't heard it!

Please don't forget a well known and respected musician fiance...;)

I am actually pretty sure that her fiance is bigger moving force than her dad at this point in her career...at least in America...where most people haven't heard of her anyway...if she is known here it's mostly as Scott Ian's fiance...

meatloaf-unofficial 14 Nov 2007 13:48

this Ep is growing on me all the time. Listened to it instead of Meat this morning on the way to school :-)

I like Rock Child...

In America? When she first started going solo?

LucyK! 19 Nov 2007 15:17

I've not got this yet, I intended to pick it up at a show sometime after Newcastle which obviously didn't happen, but I'd have been buying it in the hope that I'd like these recorded versions more than the live set, because based on what I saw at Newcastle I wouldn't have bought it.

Admittedly it was Pearl's first solo set here and so there's the nerves and added pressure that come with that, but I didn't enjoy the set...I thought it was "fine".

I don't know...I wasn't being sarcastic...I was honestly asking...it was in response to your previous post about fans attending and such...

In my opinion, she is pretty mediocre but for her father and her fiance...but this is very subjective and it's very much possible that she has bunches of fans...again...no sarcasm here...just ignorance...

LostSoul 19 Nov 2007 17:38

I guess she has fans but not those from Anthrax...

Some of the songs on the album I got, i thought her voice wasn't suited to. That said she can sing as evidence by Man of Steel, Meat's version of Whore and Killing trend...she does a good version of Guilty as well

Pudding 19 Nov 2007 22:46

I don't buy a CD because the person is a good singer or not, I buy it because the songs are either good or bad. Unfortunately I think Pearl is a wasted talent on the songs that she's singing.
