Dick Clark's Rockin' Eve 2008

Found on the Washington Times website:

• Dick Clark's Primetime New Year's Rockin Eve 2008 (10 p.m., ABC) — The iconic Dick Clark co-hosts the 35th edition of the annual celebration and is joined once more by heir apparent Ryan Seacrest, notes the Richmond Times-Dispatch. The prime-time segment is followed by local news, then "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve 2008, Part I" from 11:35 p.m. to 1:05 a.m., and "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve 2008, Part II" from 1:05 to 2:05 a.m. Christina Aguilera, Fergie and Meatloaf (Yes, we said Meatloaf), Akon, Natasha Bedingfield, Sean Kingston, OneRepublic, Plain White T's, Taylor Swift and Will.I.Am are among those taking the stage. Oh ... Carrie Underwood and the Jonas Brothers will perform, too.

So are we taking this as Meat performing on the show?

Diane 31 Dec 2007 12:55

No idea if he's just popping in for a chat or actually performing with the NLE but at least news on how he's doing would be very welcome.

 It's a bit of a weird place to put an "and" if they were not saying they were performing together.

That's how I read it anyway.

Hope it turns out better than that utter shite performance of Dead Ringer that was done with Jamerlia.

strange as I thought Meat was resting for 6 months or so.....
If he does make it on the show, please post it :-)

No, he wasn't. Fergie was - she hosted the Los Angeles part, but no Meat.

I saw a video with Fergie in a couple of weeks ago. It wasn't a pop video... ;)

Wario 03 Jan 2008 12:52

Meat and Fergie still coud've done a sick version of Dead Ringer or CHSIB (Paradise is old).
