George Borowski - Remember Him?

For those with a good memory, you'll see the connection.

Anyway, we're releasing his fantastic new album in October.

Anyone interested in more info can of course click the link below :)

For those of us without good memories or who have never heard of him, please would you enlighten us with the connection?

If my memory is correct George Borowski was a guitar tech for Meat for a while back in the '80s. He even used to come on stage and play guitar during the rock'n'roll medley and he was pretty wild on stage. I believe he's the guy really rocking a guitar solo during Promised Land on the Meat Loaf Live video from Wembley in 1982.

It's also rumoured that he's the "Guitar George" mentioned in Dire Straits Sultons Of Swing.

I've got a great magazine interview with him somewhere. If anyone's interested I'll see if I can dig it out.

just a question: where's the line between info about upcoming new ML releases and common advertising?

To me this looks more like the latter :?

If there's a link to Meat it's acceptable (ish), even if it is a tenuous one ;-)

Ah come off it, you make it sound like I bash the forums with everything thats being released everywhere.

We've plenty more things coming out if you're interested :P

I simply thought it might have been of some interest to the people here, I don't mind if the link is removed. :)

Ok ... read Andy's post and you'll see this has been resolved already.
