Meat Loaf in Rainbow
In 1972 Meat Loaf was in an off-Broadway musical called Rainbow, for those that don't have it it's on my blog, alternatively it's in the forum section of thenakedwire.com.

Pud....how do I open RAR files?
I am of course taking your word for it that I'm not exactly missing anything I wouldn't want to, but you know...curiosity and all that! So apologies for being a techno-dumb-ass...how do I do it please? |
|
That's a bit weird... the supermarket round the corner from my house is called Rainbow, I was just wondering how Pudding could see from over there...

As for winrar, what Andy said. TheNakedWire.com has each song individually ready for downloading in the forum section. My blog is just slap-dashed any old how  Pud  |
What songs does Meat sing?
|
Meat Loaf's character is not specifically mentioned in the song list in either the preview or opening Playbills, so I'm willing to bet he mainly did a ton of ensemble vocals.
On a side note, Meat claims to have sung "I'd Love to Be as Heavy as Jesus" at his audition for More Than You Deserve, but Steinman says it was a song called "You Got to Give Your Heart to Jesus." A song of similar name happens to appear in Rainbow. Maybe Meat sang this song at his audition? On another side note, Marcia McClain (the woman's voice in the "Hot Summer Night" dialogue on Bat I) also appeared in this show, and no doubt this is where she and Meat met. |

might be, but the loaf is also known for coming up with a good story once in a while

only if he was attending the famous MTYD rehearsals where Jim and Meat first met. If not then he probably got the story from Meat...
