Finally something for a true meat loaf fan to drool over :DDDD rockpalast > MSO > 3 bats LIVE now all we need is bad attitude live (unedited) on DVD |
According to the Rockpalast website (you might need to scroll down a bit) that's all that's listed for the setlist.
Out of interest, when you scroll down the page you'll pass a group called Rubinoos, Kasim Sulton was in that group for a period of time, but I don't know if he played in that concert. SueW will probably know more if he did or didn't. |

Additional info (slightly off-topic): Those of you who like Marion Raven can watch her Rockpalast performance here: http://www.rockpalast.de/video.phtml...raven&a=499&o= |
Will this be released in North America? The Meat and Jim 1970's gig
|
That sounds great, I can't wait till it comes out.

looks like my prayers, and candles, and chanting and dancing have finally had a result :))
Awesome! I just hope it will be remastered in some way (at least the video), or that at least someone takes that damn timer out that blocks a fourth of the screen lol Quote:

I'd much more fancy a proper release of the 'History of Meat Loaf' show from Florida 93. Especially as it cut off before the end of BOOH :bicker: and is missing some other songs that were recorded as well.
Or maybe a release of the Hudson Theater 93 show with Mr Steinman joining Meat on stage...according to some people the show must have been recorded on video, as there are a few snippets on several documentaries. If I ever got to see that one on DVD, I'd die happy. <--- off to buy more candles |
I agree, that would be great. I guess I'm gonna buy some candles, too, but I'm not very good at dancing and chanting. I'll probably awake the wrong powers and cause a release of a CD that has "All songs by Diane Warren" printed on the cover.

That's great news :))
I too would love to see the Bad Attitude concert from Brixton relelased on DVD as well, not only because I'm in it ;-) |
Yes to Bad Attitude Live and History Of Meat Loaf Live. There was also a concert recorded in Germany on the Born To Rock tour. Bat, AFL and Rubber were shown on some TV programme.

Rockpalast 1978
This is great news - hope it gets the remaster treatment it deserves (the benchmark being Bruce at Hammersmith 1975). Would be nice to come with a live CD from that era - eg remastered my father's place or similar
As to other releases - Bad attitude live with restored songs not in the original release (esp I'm gonna lover her if it exists) I think this is a great show and probably the best produced of all the 80s videos I would like one of the 81/82 shows to be spruced up for reissue. My first Meat live shows. Wembley is probably the better production and there should be more out there (the sleeve always used to list read em and weep). I do like the Dortmund show though - Davey Johnstone is great I think both the above would be marketable as full DVDs (and at least 85 and 82 are based on previous vhs issues), not sure about other shows but like others I would like to see Hudson 1993 (at least include the Jim bits as extras on the rockpalast dvd!) Also there is another 89/92 show that is probably more 'pro shot' than Toads - Pat Thrall is in it so its either 89/90 or 92 Having said all that - will settle for rockpalast, many thanks to Meat! |
Good post Mick.
Bruce at Hammersmith 75 sounds like it was recorded yesterday. The quality is unbelievable imo. As others have pointed out I'd love some 1993 material too as Meat was just incredible then imo. |

While we're asking for re-releases, can I add the Dead Ringer movie? The original Alan Nicholls cut. Pure gold rarity value
Thanks in anticipation Meat!! |

History of ML Live: All Revved Up, Frying Pan, BOOH (Well the beginning and end), DRFL, Everything Louder, and Roll Over Beethoven |
History of ML live unedited would be a hell of a show on DVD
