Patti's vocals in The Dream/TI video
Check out Patti's vocals in this video. (The model in the video is lip-synching to Patti's voice.)

"Not available in your country".

Thank you for the info. I know the blockade can be circumvented but since YT blocks more and more music videos and even many artists' official channels  in my country I'm beginning to hate clicking YT links.
|
The vid is available in New Zealand and we normally have everything blocked.
The part Patti sings is great (A Patti/Meat big band album?) the rest of the song is shit. |
Patti vocals are great in this, I'd love to hear a full recording of Why don't you Do Right
|
 Jessica Rabbit = Best version ever.
FACT! |
why use someone ugly to lip synch to Pat? Use the real thing.
|
apparently, she had to be in the video. She says something about it on her Facebook page :???:
|
The lip syncing is terrible or maybe it's because I know Patti's voice. Looks awful this way. I agree with mouse Jessica Rabbit did this rather well! :-) What a shit song though this make up bag thing. This song sums up so much stuff what I hate about Rnb/hip hop/trip top/shit shop whatever you call this awful mess.
|
A bit of a tangent, but I'm surprised Anything For Love has never been redone with Patti's vocals.

Why not? It would have made an interesting B side or addition to a cheapy compilation album.
|
Well we have her singing parts of the original Paradise on the Super Audio version for some strange reason. ;-)

"The 5.1 surround sound mix was created using the original multitrack master tapes, with two exceptions: the completed multitrack masters for "Paradise By The Dashboard Light" and "Heaven Can Wait" were destroyed in a fire. For "Paradise By The Dashboard Light", the only existing multitracks were missing some final overdubs, which have been recreated in the studio by some of the original artists. Unfortunately no multitrack master for "Heaven Can Wait" could be located. Ted Jensen has created a 5.1 surround sound mix from the original existing two-track mix tape." This of course is for the 5.1 SACD, not the stereo SACD. As well as the musician list for each track, there's also a separate list for the 5.1 reissue, a list which includes Joe Stefko and Karla DeVito, neither of whom were on the original album. Patti isn't listed there either. Dave |

ha ha ha ha haaaaaaa! Andrew G, CHSIB! |
looks like I'm the only one to like this, awww
I keep on humming to that "Drop drop 5 stacks on the make up bag" |
 The RnB thing is probablly my worst gripe in music.
R&B is rhythm and blues. It's great music, the forerunner to rock & roll. RnB is utter shite. It seems to be given out to any crap act to signify the colour of their skin no matter what their music (or lack thereof) sounds like. It has nothing in common with rhythm and blues, and is certainly no relation to rock and roll. It really winds me up (even more than boy bands or the X factor). we need John Lee Hooker to come back and open a can of whoop ass. |
