Does anyone know what happened during patti's audition for the band?

She thought she hadn't done well enough, went outside and kicked a bus. Meat saw this and decided she had the passion he was looking for. Or something along those lines anyway.

That's not what Patti said in a recent interview, she said that Meat had already picked someone else from the auditions and she thought she had blown it but his wife convinced him that Patti was the right person. She said Meat wasn't happy but soon got over it after the first few shows

I remember that. She said that in her HMH Amsterdam interview, right? I can't imagine anyone being a better fit for that role than Patti.

I remember Kasim mentioning this when he and Patti sang together at The Bitter End years ago. Kasim said there was another girl and he initially thought she was better but then realized he was completely wrong. He went on to praise Patti's energy, heart, etc.

I know I've heard the song before, but I can't think of it now. What song did Patti sing at her audition?
