That's what I was thinking. I have seen people take off gherkins of their Maccie D burgers (what's wrong with Gherkins btw, I really like them and they are just small cucumbers really) so piecing together two quarter pounders wouldn't looks so weird either probably. ;-)

AndyK 18 Aug 2010 21:02

Don't even piece them together. You have two hands don't you?

I always end up with T'Other half's gherkins as a bonus.

In my local mcdonalds they only recently stopped doing double quarters because too many folk were buying them. They arent officially on the menu see but some mcdonalds still have them on the register for a promotional thing which happend maybe 3 yrs back. They only cost 20p more than a qurter meal. So its maybe worth your while exploring ur area and asking each drive thru if they have them. Although some people dont like eating a heart attack in a bap. So its your call. Can you cope with the beef?

Yeah I'm one of them, I hate gherkins and always take them off, and I hate cucmbers too. We've had the double quarter pounders here too for a limited time years ago. They used to find gherkins on the ceilings cos people used to take them off and throw them up there.

 I remember the burger McDonalds did for the Batman Forever movie.

3 burgers spread over two long buns with two different types of cheese

Still doesn't touch the burger that Michael, Chris, and I had after the Oxford St signing.
That was the ultimate 8)

Sarge 18 Aug 2010 22:53

daveake 18 Aug 2010 22:55

I'd rather have a McChicken Sandwich. Plain, no salad or mayo and then half-inch a sachet of brown sauce from the local Wetherspoons to pour over it.
