I'm delighted for Jim. I just hope he gets in now, he deserves it after everything he's achieved in his music career. :cool:

He deserved it in 1978 compared to some of the 'talent' that's already in there. :roll:

We've had pretty much the same discussion recently about Meat not being in the R&RHOF, and it's the same with the songwritters hall of fame, with so many glaring ommissions, how can they claim to be a HOF of anything?

"One weird dude", who has made a hell of a living being weird. :cool: Maybe that's why he hasn't got the recognition he deserves. He's not your everyday songwriter that's for sure.

I think Leon Russell could take it. He's just made an album with Elton John and has been doing some publicity for it. His being very visible at this time may swing votes his way. He'd deserve it, too. I like him.
