Children In Need 2010

Meat Loaf will be included in the Children In Need Lineup but sadly not the man himself.... well not just yet, we dont know the full comfirmed lineup but according to the website forum below: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/s....php?t=1375995

The Hairy Bikers' will do a unique take on Bat Out Of Hell

This could be interesting :?

Bat with a geordie accent? It'll be just like standing next to Michael at a concert! :lmao:

Steve6 31 Oct 2010 17:46

I hope the man himself is there. I don't want to hear another cover of BOOH after hearing Wagner.

meatloaf-unofficial 31 Oct 2010 23:08

they also did a cover on Strictly Come Dancing - he sounded much better lol At least he could sing! hehe

LucyK! 19 Nov 2010 21:33

Anyone see it?! Great performance, they'd clearly watched the video a lot! Well done fellas!

daveake 19 Nov 2010 21:36

AndyK 19 Nov 2010 21:42

Yep! I loved it now even more of a reason to love them

LucyK! 19 Nov 2010 21:59

Has anyone seen Monstro and Smoggy Chris tonight? I reckon I know where they are... :))

Monstro 19 Nov 2010 23:10

cheeky feckers lol, thought I'd stumbled into a Monstro appreciation thread

A Slice Of English 19 Nov 2010 23:21

It was certainly entertaining, very tongue in cheek. always good to hear some Meat before bedtime!!

Wrong website for anything like that :p

It's just been on again, they made a really good job editing an epic song down to a few minutes.

cujo 20 Nov 2010 08:12

For those who didn't see it

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7QOyNkaOFMk

And at least this ones for charity ;)

Monstro 20 Nov 2010 09:28

Cheers Stu, I didn't see it last night.

That was fun, actually had me laughing out loud and would've made a much better charity single than the JLS one!!

A Slice Of English 20 Nov 2010 09:38

Except that no one would buy it... They always get the big boy bands to do the charity singles because they're pretty much guaranteed the good sales.

Being the pedantic dickwad that I am, I'm going to prove you wrong.

The two main charities in the UK that have official singles are Children in Need and Comic Relief and if you look at the list official single releases from Children In Need and the at the list official single releases from Comic Relief you will see that the last 'boyband' single was Westlife singing Uptown Girl back in 2001 ;)

A Slice Of English 21 Nov 2010 22:03

I could still guarantee you that a Meat Loaf single for children in need will not sell well. His music isn't mainstream enough these days.

Which suits me just fine.
