Lyrics Question

Can some provide lyrics or translation for these songs?
The chant at the beginning of "Home By Now" during the "church organ part".
The words to "Monstro".
Both sound like chants of something. What are the words if anyone knows.

Evil Nickname's your best bet, he'll be on at some point

The lyrics to Monstro are on the Bat III page of my website, and they go a little something like this:

Quote:

Tu eres cruel (monstro)
No eres fiel (monstro)
Hijo del mal (monstro)
Un ser fatal (monstro)
Tu corazón (monstro)
Es un ladrón (monstro)
which I'm lead to believe translates to something like "You are cruel / You are unfaithful / Son of Evil / A deadly being / Your heart / Is a thief" with a couple of monstros thrown in for good measure. And 'monstro' supposedly isn't even a proper Spanish word.

As to the chanting in 'Home By Now,' I have no clue.

Thanks. That makes sense regarding "Monstro". It sounds more like "real" words, whereas the chant on "Home By Now" does not. It sounds like those so-called "backwards masking" I used to hear about. Interesting lyrics. thanks.:D:lol:

OK, that's it. If I'm that predictable, I'm off to bed. (Which I was anyway, but you know, nothing like a big dramatic exit and all that...)

I kind of surprised nobody has any idea on "No Matter What". That is a strange chant.

.............

I guess you are going to force me to listen to Home By Now over and over and over again just so I can see if I can figure it out. The things I will do to help a fellow loafaholic. LOL

I really think it could be backwards.

I suppose the last two words could be a drawn out 'Domine', but since it doesn't really sound like a real choir, it really could be anything. I never suspected that it was supposed to mean anything, really.

I don't think those things just happen. Somebody put it there for a reason, maybe even as a joke. You are right, upon further listens I am not sure if it is a choir or what it is. It is just plain weird.

Indeed, they are there for a reason. But what I meant was that I think that 'choir' is there just for the sound of it--as another instrument, if you will--not because of what they're 'singing'.
