Meat Loaf: Blind Before I Stop Live

WITHOUT COUNTING STORYTELLERS AND SOUNDCHECKS:

Meat has played every song off bat 1 Live. Second to that he has played every song off Bat 2 except GGTH and IJWQ (Back into Hell was performed once during the 2003 Tour).

Believe it or not in third place of albums that have the most live arrangements of each song stands BBIS. Every song but Three have been performed Live.

Enjoy Some BBIS Live Treats:

Execution Day
Rock & Roll Mercenaries
Getting Away With Murder
One More Kiss (Night of the Soft Parade) [Pictures contained in this video were taken by the fabulous Andy King. His watermark is not cropped out and to use these pictures you must first ask his permission. Also big thanks to Renegade Angel for this treasure.]
Blind Before I Stop
Burning Down
Masculine
Special Girl

I can't but wonder if that has something to do with Meat's dissatifaction with the final mix. Maybe he was trying to present the songs the way he thought they should have been.

it , like FCOL and RRD, was a Sound check man.

Says on the album it was recorded live. Sounds like a helluva soundcheck to me. I love it.

It is a helluva soundcheck. Thought it was "live" for years.

if you listen to the crowd its as fake as on FCOL ;)

I listen to the music, not the crowd. And For Crying Out Loud was awesome on that album too. I will not think of them as "soundchecks" until I hear it from the big man himself.

Listen to the commentary track on mso during FCOL bro. painful truth.

Again, not interested in commentary, I'm interested in music. Soundcheck or not, it kicks serious ass.

Well During the commentary track meat says its soundchecked.

But I do agree. Both kick serious ass.

That doesn't come as a surprise to me as all your videos are from a time at which BBIS was Meat's most recent album and three of the listed songs were singles (actually four, if you also count Special Girl).

What? You don't wanna write a doctorate on Meat Loaf's live performances? :))

Considering that it must have taken place on a stage under "live" conditions then, discussions like this appear like nitpicking to me.

1st point is a negative from me. I love listening to Meat Loaf's music, watching his films and TV appearances and enjoy hearing rare or unknown recordings but facts and figures about what was live and when just don't interest me. The past is past, let's celebrate the music and the future. Now I sound like a preacher...

2nd point is an Amen to that sister!

Testify!!
