DEAD MEAT!

Apprentice contestant has cheated death FOUR TIMES!

WHILE many Celebrity Apprentice contestants shake in their boots when it comes time to face The Donald in the boardroom, don't expect rock singer Meat Loaf to so much as break a sweat!
The Bat Out Of Hell star has cheated death FOUR times - so a high stakes sit-down with Donald Trump should be a panic!

"He's the man who couldn't be killed," an insider says of the 59-year-old rocker. "And his ability to survive makes him the perfect Apprentice candidate."
The burly singer who was born Marvin Lee Aday, had his first brush with death in high school when he was hit on the head by a 12-pound shot put during gym classes.
"I was standing 62 feet away with my back turned, warming up, and there was no way anyone thought it would be tossed that far!" he reveals.
Years later, Meat - who became an unlikely international sensation after the release of his 1977 album Bat Out Of Hell - was sitting in the back seat of a car that rolled off the highway after speeding around a bend. In 2003, he collapsed onstage during a show and was diagnosed with Wolff-Parkingson-White syndrome, a condition which causes an irregular heartbeat. He immediatey underwent emergancy heart surgery.
His fourth escape from the Grim Reaper was in 2006, when Meat's private jet was forced to make an emergency landing gear malfunctioned.
During filming of the new season of Celebrity Apprentice, which premiered March 6, Meat has repeatedly butted heads with 66-year-old actor Gary Busey.
"Gary can be a bit trying at times," Meat Loaf admitted.
"And when I loseit, I lose it."

Thanks to Emma for posting it .. but who's to say Meat gave them his date of birth as 1951 for this article .. Come to think .. who's to say he even gave ANY information for it? It is the National Enquirer after all ;). They need to fill pages, and I could have cobbled that article together in a few minutes based on information readily available in the public domain. The photos are ones we have already; even the quote about Gary Busey has already been published. My guess is they may well have created the article without even talking to Meat directly, and are still going on a dob given some years ago and held in their records.

Really! You mean they are only 95% accurate. I am shocked - I always thought they were absolutely 100% true! It is funny seeing Meat in the National Enquirer, even if it isn't accurate.

What about the time when he collapsed and actually died onstage in Newcastle in January 1985 ! a St Johns Ambulanceman had to revive him on that occasion, was during "Paradise" as well (talk about a jinx of a song), we all thought it was part of Meats act at the time, Meat was eternally grateful to that guy back then , got the newspaper clip somewhere.

woah never heard that one. i remember hearing ML had 17 concussions in his autobio, and even at some of their shows in 70s he had to be revived or something. dont know the details on that tho.
