The reviewer says that Meat struggles to hit some of the high notes I was just wondering, has he seen the clip of Bat Out Of Hell? You're telling me he didn't hit the high notes at the end?

Well in all fairness he sounds far from perfect in the clips I've heard, including Bat. So I think it's a fair statement for the reviewer to make

You won't like it !! (the DVD) You will make it the frog in Biology class.

I will like it (LOVE it actually) and still make it the frog in bio class cause thats what I love to do :)

Yes ... unfortunately you can't please everybody no matter how hard you try :(

It is a worldwide DVD release. Good, bad, or indifferent you have to know going into it that people are going to scrutinize it and "put it under a microscope" its just human nature. Some people won't, but detail oriented people like myself are going to notice things like weird echo effects and lighting issues.

Doesn't mean the entire product is bad, will have to wait and see on that, but it is just honest opinions and there isn't anything wrong with that.

Then we'll just have to agree to disagree. I'm not one of those people who feels the need to scrutinize it or
"put it under a microscope" .... I'll simply enjoy the concert as a whole, and only comment on the DVD when
I've seen the final released version.

To be perfectly honest with you, my only wish is that The Giving Tree and Mad Mad World had been included
... hopefully they will both be released on video somewhere down the road because they have both been truly
amazing live on this tour.

I will recluse myself from further discussion on the matter for the simple fact that nothing that I have seen so far has made me want to buy the thing, so I simply won't be spending my hard earned money on this.

I found the tour to be enjoyable overall but lacks something I can't put my finger on it though.

I agree. The members of this forum don't imo exactly represent Meat's wider fanbase but are a minority in themselves, and even on here many will just buy it, play it and enjoy it as a whole performance without the need to examine every aspect of the production. Meat's point that pinning it on a board and dissecting it down to the bones isn't the best way to enjoying it is well made in my view .. but most people won't do that.

Meat, from what I've heard on iTunes and on Youtube this DVD is gonna be freakin amazing!!! You sound more than amazing. You look like you had fun and any fan will love it and you, my good sir, should be bloody proud of what you do and what you are about to release as it looks and sounds perfect an anyone who doubts what you do needs their heads checking.

Never, ever, EVER stop rocking, else you'll have me to deal with lol.

I could ask you the same thing. Especially in relation to the iTunes material that you mentioned. Take Hot Patootie for instance, it is vocally terrible IMO. There comes a time where you start to notice that difference between screaming and singing
