Filter Out Sections Of Forum
 

Is there any way to maybe filter out the section of the forum with the HOF stuff in it? I had to log into the website to actually look around. I much prefer to check the forums on my phone, but all of the HOF stuff makes navigating my way around the forums on my phone nearly futile. Is there a setting I can check or something?

:twisted: Perhaps the OR&RH forum can be left out of the new post notifications?

Can it be left out of the tweets too?

Got to agree with the Twitter thing - had the feed on my phone, almost blew up :?

I can do both, but I'm not sure it it's really worth it.

Tweets occur on new threads only, so that won't be a problem (unless somebody decides to spam the forum).

As i'm guessing this is in some way inspired by the HOF, the good news is that we're only going to have it once a year, and each category being discussed in a thread rather than have a thread for each nominee reduces the ammount of threads considerably.

As for posting the HOF itself, i've been working on what I think is a workable solution.
i'm going to use some of my old posts. I'll move them into threads of their own, rename them, edit the content, and then lock the threads.
They won't show up as new threads for those who are not interested, and there will be links in the one new thread for those who are.

If having about 14 new threads once a year is a problem though, get rid of the notifications :shrug:

I meant Pie, I read the question wrong! I'm okay with it being in new posts or or not... I desktop over mobile these days.. now where's that pie I want some! :twisted: Y'know before the pie has been cut into many pieces and flavour that I crave is no longer there.
