HOF final voting
 

:twisted: Well finally :lol: we get round to final voting stage.
Apologies again for the delay and thanks for your patience :up:

Please take a minute to read through this post to see how the final voting works.

The final voting will be done on a point system.
This is to minimise the likelyhood of draws (might work, might not :shrug: ).

Votes only from the lists of nominees (to be found in each category thread or the main thread) please :wink:

You don't have to vote on every category (for instance, you might not want to vote in the Producer or Bass catergories) BUT if you do vote in a category you will need to fill in a full set of nominations for that category.
For instance, i'll be asking you to submit 15 male vocalists in that cagegory, so if you wish to vote please nomiate 15 singers, nothing less.


If we're going to submit points for just the people you nominated we're going to end up with a complete stalemate :|

You can see in the other thread how many inductions there will be in each category in the other thread (but I will be changing the number of female inductions from 6 to 10 as we've had an increase in interest in the category).

Due to polular request (and with nobody posting objections) this years Rock N Roll Heaven nominees will be all be inducted. 8)

In the next post I will post a templete for you to copy and paste into a PM to me and fill in with your points.

As always, closing of the voting will be 3pm next Monday.

I know it's quite a long list to work through, but it's the best way to get clearer results.

And if it's any consolation, if you think it's bad filling in a set of votes, imagine how much fun i'm going to have sorting them out :panic: :lol:

:twisted: Voting should be over now folks, but i'm having a bit of a problem with the printer tonight, so the only way to get a hard copy to work out the votes is to write it all out by hand :panic:

So i'll extend the deadline to 3pm on Wednesday to give you an extra chance to get your votes in, and to give me more time to get the results added up :up:

:twisted: I've actually found an easier way of collecting the info, so i've breezed through the results i've receieved 8)

I'll still keep voting open as promised until 3PM (BST) Wednesday in case anyone else wants their votes counted :up:

Only three hours to go before the final voting is closed :lock:

The voting has shown some interesting results so far. I've just received another two sets of votes, so we'll see how those affect the results. See if any apple carts get upset in the final vote.

As soon as the 3 o clock deadline is finished i'll calculate the results, and will post a list of this years inductees this evening (dress code is black tie for the awards ceremony :mrgreen: ).

Then, i'll be hoping to have the completed Hall Of Fame posted on the forum within the next two days.

Closest I have to a black tie, is a black sock!

Finally pulled my finger out and got it done!! Male Vocal was the hardest!

:twisted: Just cut it into a bow tie shape and tie it round your neck :lol:

I'm looking forward to seeing the finished results of the voting.

One nominee in particular is now know as the come back kid :shock:
