I found this article yesterday and thought that some might find it interesting.

Quote:

Stanley Snadowsky, a music-loving lawyer who helped launch the career of KISS and for 30 years co-owned the iconic Village club the Bottom Line, died Feb. 25 at his home in Las Vegas. He was 70.

He had been suffering from diabetic complications for the past year, according to his daughter Leslie, who said he died holding the hands of his family and listening to Meat Loaf’s “Bat Out of Hell” album.

Snadowsky and his lifelong friend Allan Pepper turned the modest-size Bottom Line into a musical destination from 1974 to 2004, with performances by the likes of Whitney Houston, Prince, Billy Joel, Miles Davis, Tito Puente, Lou Reed and Dizzy Gillespie.

Snadowsky’s love for Meat Loaf, Pepper says, began when the singer debuted “Bat Out of Hell” at the Bottom Line.
Snadowsky is survived by his wife of 44 years, Michelle; two daughters, Leslie and Daria; and his brother, Alvin x

Very sad, but how wonderful that that first performance from the newbie from Texas came to mean so much.

Goodnight and God Bless Stanley Snadowsky, and thanks for the Bottom Line
