The Old Grey Whistle Test 2 is being released on October 13th October, DVD/VHS rent or buy. Covering years from 1971 until 1986.

This means it should contain Meat Loafs Paradise from 1978., this performance will leave you amazed, believe me I have it on tape.

A truly superb rendition.

Ok will do, i will have to start asking the stores about it, it's funny it got to the stage with same stores that as soon as i walked (I'm hard to miss :lol: ) in the place they would start to look up Meat, to see if CHSIB was released yet, as i had been asking them for so long lol.

The first Old Grey Whistle Test DVD release has Meat's performance of Paradise, its not on the second one. I agree with you its amazing the best Paradise I've seen.

I seem to remember Meat's voice being very raw on this version, but it's great. I also remember Karla De Vito wearing something revealing :twisted:

In addition to Meats performance, there are some great tracks on there.

The only problem is I'm not sure if it contains Meat's performance of Paradise or not.

I got a different copy from Amazon.com in the UK which contains his performance ... however it's a region 0 PAL DVD, and I haven't figured out how to get it to play in my DVD player :( It works great in my computer though ....

Is it the same live act as on the Classic Videos?

Yes ... but it's the full version, whereas I think the one on the Classic Videos is only a couple of small clips :)

O, that's really great. I have never seen Meat live in the seventies. he was awesome at that time. Fat, long hair and with carla. That's great. I wanna have that one! :D
