A job for Mulder & Scully?
 

OK - now it could be said that I've had too much time on my hands this weekend and that would be true but I noticed something and it puzzled me. :?

I was searching posts made by users and noticed that the amount of posts made in the profile section was greater than the number of posts pulled up on find all posts made by..........

In some cases this was under ten less in others under fifty but in some over a hundred 8O

The one exception I found was our very own Heat who's number on her profile was less than the number found on post made by..........

Was this just the midnight hour?
Where have all the missing posts gone?

ok just check yours r as it was in front of me and your profile shows 1669 posts made and when I click find posts made by R. it says 1490
Thats 179 missing posts now I'm really really worried 8O becasue it's not even midnight yet

That just means that I posted 179 messages in a non public area. 8)

Ah OK then - but that's obviously somehwre on the web and connected with this site, but what about mine my profile says 2353 yet checking all posts made by me it says 2336? 8O I know I can nothing private or in a "non public area"

I bet that this is the number of messages you posted in the "CHSIB Promo" forum, which is invisible (~non public) since some weeks.

I hadn't noticed that - but would that explain Dotties showing less - I'm not sure she posted there and Fallen Angel10001 definately didn't and theirs are showinga discrepency - I'm so desperate to get that Mulder in here

It probably does explain it, because threads have been moved there.
If you still need someone to investigate this, I'd prefer Scully. :))

darn that actually makes sense - i didn't realise we'd lost those two forums but then i hadn't noticed my staus had changed :oops: This really did my head in late last night and the wine aint helping oo much at the moment.

Looks like I'm gonna have to go and rent Evolution and just keep rewinding Mulder's moony but there's no way I'm letting scully in here
