Bon Jovi Petition
There is a petition to sign to try and get Bon Jovi to be the first band to play the Wembley stadium when its finished, any help appriciated:
heres the link: http://www.petitiononline.com/joviwe...tion-sign.html Bye |
Blasphemy!
That should be Meat Loaf obviously! :)) |
Ehem.......Queen!!
Tbh I'd rather have a british band be the first to play....perhaps a mixed concert with the best of British playing....^_^! |
What! Is this still the Meat Loaf forum? Somebody Help! Pleeeeease?! Bon Jovi, Queen...... It's either I'm seeing things or I've logged onto a joint fan site....
|
Hmmm....
Wembley.... cant remember what that is:twisted: |
Maybe it should be a concert featuring Queen, Meat Loaf and Bon Jovi. This way Brian May could easily help Meat out during the live version of "Bad for Good". Now that would be some concert!
|
Haha thats a good idea!
Chloe |
There can be only Queen Or Meat Loaf!
|
Obviously the first Wembley gig should be a British artist.
And what better way than to invite one of the most successful British acts of all time ever to perform. Especially since they hold the record for the most number of concerts at Wembley and various sell-out records for Wembley. That's right folks - Vote Cliff :p |

It should be a British act and therefore it must be The Rolling Stones Mike It's only rock'n roll but I like it |
Done my bit.... so's hubby and big sis...
|
Should be a decent band... so Meat... Queen... or ya know... METALLICA!
|
I'd vote for Queen, since Queen are a good English band and Wembley is English, it would be only fitting.
Pud  |

Support acts Lordi The 69 Eyes Disturbed Rammstien Or Roadstar - previously hurricaine Party |
No
No No No And definitely No Pud  |
Sounds like Queen should be IT
|
;) At least that would prevent Pud from imploding!
|
Really feel it should be a British band, so of the nominees so far, Queen and The Stones fit the category.
Although what are the chances on any of them actually being alive when Wembley is finally finished? |
The Stones? Oh come on. Talk about being passed it.... !
Okay I'll settle for Queen as long as Meat is a guest act and does Bad for Good with Brian May. |
I'd love Meat to open up with Queen playing support!
But I rekon in reality it'll be more likely that 'The Who' or Paul McCartney would be the first to play. |
The Who would be a shame as they are not a patch on how they were.
Paul mcCartney I cannot stand. (along with the rest of the Beatles) In 1989 there was a two night extrazaganza at Wembley with Cliff, the Dallas Girls, The Oh-Boys, the thingie twins and others. They should recreate that. |
Oh my god Cliff Richard. Noooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!
You want a playback show? Might aswell bring Michael Jackson along then! |
I really hope you aren't criticisng St Cliff.
I would hate to have to mobilise the Cliff Fan Club Contingent that we ahve on here!! |
Actually when I saw Bon Jovi a few weeks ago I was really dissapointed with their live show so I wouldn't want them to open wembley.
I'd love to see someone like The Darkness open up, hmmm I bet Robbie Williams might be a strong contender on par with Cliff perhaps?! :D |
Towards the end of the tour Jon Bon Jovi had a few health problems. But he put on a better show than most at his age, the rest of the band did well too, Richie did well recovering quickly from his fractured or broken shoulder whicheva it was.
i do realise this is a Meat Loaf board, i have been a member for ages now, but this is the offtopic section which is used for things non meat loaf related, which is why i posted here. Also i know there is a few Bon Jovi fans on here. They were going to be the first to open it before the completion date for the stadium was put back and both nites were sold out. They were the band that closed wembley so i figure it would be good for them to open the new one, wheneva the dope smoking builders feel like finishing it. If u signed the petition thank you very much, if u didnt then thanks for ur time anyways. it was a long shot anyways. |
