Jim and I have done great things together, have done allot to help each and I still consider Jim to be a good friend. He may not mind what you say about him but I do. Please remember, Jim is at the top of a very short list of great writers and he should be shown the respect he deserves.
Meat Loaf

I agree totally!
Couldn't have said it better myself!

You took the words right out of my mouth.
This should be made sticky as far as I'm concerned. Moderators?

Like any other kind of love, friendship can be lost within our lives due to neglect or anger or, sometimes, simply circumstances. However it is lost, we often lose a part of ourselves that can never quite be recovered.... I'm so pleased for you Meat that you haven't lost your friend. May you enjoy many more years of friendship with Jim.

I think thatīs the opinion of most of us on this forum. Just a few people around here dont like him. But most of us know the importance of Jim Steinman, even if some of the board members show it in a different way

Fallen Angel 11 Jul 2006 16:23

Well said! couldnt agree more.

It's a shame that the posts of a few individuals caused this thread to be posted in the first place

I agree with you RM..
But the different way of showing something can be done more subtile and with respect for Jim and Meat.

For many people around, well for almost all of us, Bat3 is very very important, and some people have their expectations about the writer/production/album and if these are not satisfied they may say something that they dont really mean. Because of, maybe, some kind of disappointment...
(Btw, Iīm not talking about myself!:-))

Nice words, Meat! My siblings and I dig all your work. Both yours and Jim's.

Juan Llanos 11 Jul 2006 22:10

Of course that I don't know too many things about Jim and Meat... but in my mind, Jim always made songs thinking in Meat, even before met him... and Meat did his best albums and songs when Jim wrotes the lyrics...

I don't know how many things happened or whatever... but Jim still writes thinking in Meat and Meat wants to sign Jim song's.

I know that it's more complex that I write... but they are destined each other... and they have to do whatever to keep working together.
