Help me out, entirely anonymously, please.

Working out the "average" Meat fan and thus need some vague demographics.

Plus, I have stats to practice and I like posting polls. :shock:

Not sure how you come to that conclusion. Since the poll shows 30.23% are Male and 41.86% are Female, making that just over 72% in total. Which would conclude 28% have no specified gender, NOT 48%

I saw no option to enter gender :shock: I'm afraid I'm one of the genderless.

I actually quite like the one between the ages of 96 and 102...and it wasn't even me...

:oops: You can add one female to the gender listing; I got so absorbed posting the age part...that I forgot to post my gender. :lmao:

Same here, VRG.. I never noticed there was a gender part to the poll either. lol :)

Well it's been about 10 hours since my last post and it's still roughly 28% with no gender.

Out of interest I'm in the no gender category :shock: Not because I don't have a gender, because I do, I'm male, but I fail to see the relevance of people knowing whether I'm male or female.

Two reasons for this poll, Pudding.

1) I seriously need to get my head around statistics so I may have a vague chance of passing my Honours next year, and I figure if I have data about something I'm interested in, I might actually be able to understand a bit more about what I'm doing with it, and

2) We are still doing promotions for the MV next weekend, and want to do some direct target promotions. To make those semi-efficient, it would be handy to know some basic demographic information about Meat fans. There is no point in targeting 20 year old males, if most fans are 40 year old females, and vice versa.

You don't need demographics for that, all you need is great music, beer and some nibbles. Over thinking things could be a recipe for disaster.

Yeah, we've got those three sorted, no wukkas.

However, we'd still like to see more people come along, and do not have a huge advertising budget, so whatever we can do most effectively is worth a shot. (You're talking to the person who was still up at midnight painting signs)
