Channnel 4's 100 Greatest Albums
 
Bat at Number 86, who on earth complied this "chart" How can an album, that sold so many copies, for so long, and have won a place in so many peoples hearts come so low, in any chart. It is and always will be My Favourite album of all time, some people. on a sepetate note Am looking foward to tomorrow :D :D and smiled today when watching the newcastle match on sky when i heard blind as a bat over the tanoy system at half time, well done our geordie friend.

whoever compiled this countdown needs to get brains, Bat no 86 - this sucks!!!

I never take any notice of these lists. For a start, since I have many many more than 100 albums in my collection, and since I have impeccable taste :lol:, any "top 100" list that has anything that is not in my collection is obviously deeply flawed :twisted:

And don't forget that in 1999 I think it was, Robbie Williams was voted composer of the millenium.........by C4 viewers!

I presume you are talking about the music of the millennium vote? i have the magazine of that - your joking about the greatest composer thing right? That went of course to Mozart.

He was no. 8 on the greatest songwriters poll, however, with Lennon at the top. Steinman came in at no. 35.

While I'm at it I might as well tell you that Meat came in at no. 40 on the Best Male vocalist (Elvis at no.1, followed by Robbie.) Bo Rap, was the greatest song, with no Meat/Jim entries, but BOOH was voted the 21st greatest album, with Sgt. Pepper at no.1.

Completely agree....I did see some of the 'artists' that came in and around number 60 and I have to admit I had never heard of 1 or 2..this 'modern' music !!!! The countdown must have been based off someones favourites.
